Assure that materials received agree with the purchase order / sales order.

Assure safe packaging of products for shipment.

Organizes and identifies inventory in the warehouse.

Requirements : HS diploma or GED

3-5 years of warehousing and shipping / receiving background

Some experience using FedEx Ship Manager.

Some experience using UPS World Ship

Forklift certification Sit Down, Raymond.

• Perform any of the following activities at various levels of speed as directed by the Team Leader :
• Safely Operate Forklift and material handling equipment.
• Perform inventory functions including but not exclusive to : Cycle counts, physical inventory, product checks.
• Load and receive materials from trailers.
• Load, store, move materials in and out of racking
• Perform loading documentation process in accordance with Hazmat rules
• Operate and use plant’s warehouse management system / RFID
• Perform packing / quality checks and documentation as required
• Hand stack palletized product as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
• Be responsible for the final quality of every unit that is placed into a customer’s shipper. If unsure of the quality standard required, there is a responsibility to check with the Team Leader before packing questionable product.
• Be responsible for the safety and housekeeping in the immediate work area. Help to clean and report any unsafe conditions to your Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work overtime where necessary.
• Minimum of 2 years forklift experience
• Must be able to safely operate the forklift around co-workers, other forklifts, and mechanical and electrical equipment for up to 12 hours.

• Working in non-temperature-controlled environment, including high temperatures and humidity for extended periods of time.
• Possibility of working around high noise levels, depending on location.

Responsibilities include :

• Operate sit-down forklift, minimum 2 years experience
• Experience loading and unloading products from trucks
• Move product to storage locations by efficiently stacking or storing customer products in the appropriate areas.
• Efficiently move product from staging and / or storage areas into trailers, flatbeds, railcars, or other transportation vehicles.
• Ensure inbound orders are properly documented by following Company Receiving Procedures.
• Pull outbound orders and stage them in a timely manner.
• Prepare product for shipment, ensuring that listed product types on order have been pulled and any special instructions listed have been completed.
• Perform manual loading and unloading as needed meeting customer requirements.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and adjust body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat and grab; walking and sitting for extended periods

Requirements include :

• Must have 3 years forklift experience in a logistics environment
• Handling of hazardous material is a plus
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language
• Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
