Parking Attendants are responsible for parking vehicles, taking payments for vehicles already parked, and directing patrons into open spots.
This position will provide visitors with directions and any information they require, ensuring that they’re greeted with courtesy every time as they enter the facility or office building.
It’s important that the individual in this role can stay calm under pressure or when dealing with a dissatisfied customer.

Responsibilities

- Manipulate vehicles to take advantage of all spaces.
- Collect fees from patrons wishing to park in garage.
- Hold up signs advertising parking lot fees.

- Clean up debris from parking lot.
- Use hand signals and lights to direct patrons into open spots.

- Ensure cameras are working properly in case an accident happens.
- Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots.
- Open doors and greet customers.
- Dispense change if person pays fee to park.
- Help customers locate their vehicles.
- Resolve parking lot disputes that occur between customers.
- Escort customers to their vehicles if needed.
- Help customers jump-start vehicles that have died.
- Call for cabs or tow trucks per clients' request.
- Green-light motorists coming into garage after checking identification.
- Fill or change flat tires and replace batteries.
- Help patrons exit parking garage safely.
- Give directions to nearest highway or destination.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
- Must have valid license

House Attendant
The Wayfarer DTLA is looking for a dynamic House Attendant to join the team! The House Attendant will be responsible for the cleaning of all public and common areas of the hotel and assist in housekeeping.

This position contributes to the success of Los Angeles Athletic Club by creating positive experiences for every member and guest who visits the club by ensuring all hotel guest rooms are impeccably clean and set up per LAAC standard at the time of the guest’s arrival.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Clean and Maintain Guest Rooms
- Clear checked out rooms of all traces of previous guests
- Clean bathroom, floors, furniture, and fixtures of all rooms assigned
- Re-stock all amenities as directed
- Replace all used towels and linens with fresh clean towels and linens
- Maintain pacing and timeliness to complete assignments on time
- Adapt to changing assignments as supervisor or manager directs
- Report and turn in all Lost and Found items to supervisor on the same day

Communicate and Collaborate with Hotel Team and other Club Departments

- Be alert and aware of areas in the Club that need attention and inform supervisor
EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATIONS :
- Ideal : Minimum of one (1) year of experience in same or similar positions in the Hospitality industry
- Ideal : High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
