Job Summary :

A Coordinator coordinates meal counts with customer counts for each day’s flights.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Ensures assigned flights are reviewed with the customers’ onboard service crew.
  • If required, may also check flight inside the unit for the flight being reviewed on the field.
  • Handles calls, keeps logs, communicates problems and delays, and handles relevant paperwork.
  • Clearly communicates with the onboard service staff flight components, passenger counts, special meals, crew meals, etc.

Qualifications

Education :

High School Diploma or GED is preferred

Work Experience :

Up to one-year experience preferred

Technical Skills : (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

Current U.S. driver’s license

Essential Functions :

As a valued member of the PrimeFlight team, you will provide safe and courteous wheelchair services to various airline passengers with disabilities, while complying with the Air Carrier Access Act, airport policies, airline procedures, FAA regulations, and U.

  • Safely and comfortably lift disabled passengers with assistance from one mobility device to or from an aircraft seat

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

  • Withstand impacts caused from flyers descending rapidly, flyers contacting walls, flyers contacting other flyers, and flyers impacting your torso and limbs
  • Safely control a flyer’s movement and position in the wind tunnel while also flying with the student
  • Perform all of the above for up to 13 people, 30 minutes at a time, up to 5 times a day, up to 5 days a week
  • Travel up and down stairs and ladders several times per day

Service

  • Greet the guests who approach the counter displays and who walk into the dining room
  • Pack and provide the guests / customer with requested items
  • Ensure that all items are correctly rung-in on checks and / or cashed

  • Maintain appearance of counter and the display in an on-going manner throughout the hours of operation
  • Follow and complete closing counter check list prior to departure unless otherwise assigned by management
