In this role you will support Fortune Brands Innovations’ Outdoors Business Unit achieve its strategic goals by assisting with the analysis of trends in sales, finance, and other areas for the business.

The Financial Analyst will work closely with the Finance Manager and Sales Leadership to understand business results and future needs of the business.

  • Develop an understanding of the market and customer trends in order to add value to the business unit through thoughtful and well communicated analysis.
  • Analyze sales trends by region and customer to provide insights around performance vs. plan and forecast with detailed variance analysis.
  • Manage and continuously improve down channel reporting received from external customers, ensuring we fully leveraged to provide proactive actionable insights to sales leadership.
  • Track new product financials and assist in the StageGate process by working cross-functionally in developing P&L’s
  • Responsible for pulling together key financial analysis within the business unit on customer and product performance.
  • Assist Finance Manager in preparing monthly and ad-hoc presentations for sales leadership team.
  • Additional projects as assigned

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 1-3+ years of experience working in Accounting, Finance, or related analysis experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Process Improvement driven mindset

  • Strong Analytical skills & financial acumen
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with effectively cross-functionally
