About the role

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting with regular financial reporting deliverables as well as business support.

The individual will also support initiatives to improve financial processes and procedures, as well as participate in special projects as needed.

The candidate will possess superb communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be proactive and demonstrate a willingness to challenge current processes and provide suggested efficiencies across the finance workstreams and deliverables.

This individual must have finance and accounting experience and be a forward thinking and progressive contributor. He / she will have the capability to collaborate with the business teams as well as across various functional disciplines.

What you need to know :

Support the Finance team on all financial analysis and reporting, including month close production activities / KPI reporting, quarter close activities and forecasting

Support the Finance team in the development of analytics and management information, which enables the business to track strategic initiatives

Work with the Finance team to prepare quarterly financial reporting deliverables, to outline the performance of the business compared to relevant periods and projections.

Support the annual and quarterly Strategic Planning process by helping to gather input from the business teams and compiling the projected results to be shared with the Business

Support in any finance transformation or process improvement initiatives

Participate in other special projects and / or coordination efforts.

What we’re looking for :

At least 3 years of accounting or finance experience

BA degree or equivalent

Strong written and oral communication skills

Superior organizational skills and ability to multitask to meet competing deadlines

Financial statement analysis experience

Experience in forecasting and modelling and knowledge of business performance metrics

The base salary range for this position is $53,000-$82,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Salary / Hourly Rate : $90k $110k Position Overview : As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst :

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather financial data and assumptions.

Qualifications for the Financial Analyst :

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably in the commercial real estate industry.* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis concepts, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

The Financial Planning Analyst will assist in the financial planning, reporting and analysis for the Clinical Effectiveness business within the Health Division of Wolters Kluwer.

This role will be focused on sales, revenue, forecasting, and analysis across products as well as identifying business opportunities that drive growth.

Partnering

• Financial support for the Commercial Business and assisting in the consolidation effort for the North American businesses
• Provide quantitative-based recommendations that support sales and revenue growth targets

QUALIFICATIONS
