About the role

Reporting to the Head of North America (NA) Aerospace Claims, the Airline & Severe Loss Claim Manager is a key leadership position responsible for the proactive management of all aspects of the NA Aerospace Airline & Severe Loss Claim proposition.

In this role, you will serve as the lead technical referral point for NA Aerospace Airline & Severe Loss Claim team members, and will collaborate with NA Aerospace and Specialty leadership, NA and Global Aerospace underwriting business leads and stakeholders to deliver a consistent, efficient and customer centric NA Aerospace claim proposition.

What you need to know :

  • Provide strong technical Aerospace claim leadership aimed at ensuring the best possible loss outcomes through Total Cost of Claim management and initiatives
  • Work closely with the Head of NA Aerospace Claims to ensure appropriate resource levels and skill sets to support the NA Aerospace claim portfolio
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Aerospace underwriting, actuaries, finance, reinsurance and other stakeholders

Event coordinator

Scheduling & Logistics

  • Support North America Events team with logistics and execution of events.
  • Provide on-site event support, as needed.
  • Responsible for researching, vetting, and working with outside vendors including caterers, florists, entertainment, décor, gift ideas, DMCs, restaurants, transportation, and venues.
  • Assist with hotel sourcing with AIG’s third-party vendor
  • Manage hotel rooming list and delivery manifest
  • Monitor the North America General Insurance inbox, as needed

What we’re looking for :

  • Bachelor’s Degree with preferably 2+ years in Event Management, preferably in Professional Services or Financial Services.
  • Must be able to multi-task and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project and time management skills. Must be able to prioritize projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Strong communicator both written and oral.
  • Travel is required; about 25%

The base salary range for this position is $53,000 - $67,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

This position will be responsible for the development, planning and execution of high-profile, in-person and virtual meetings and events for North America General Insurance, including both internal and external audiences.

All programs must be aligned with the business objectives of the firm. This planner will report into the Head of U.S. Events for General Insurance.

This individual will identify opportunities for elevating the quality and effectiveness of regularly occurring events to maximize the event ROI and elevate the client experience.

Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling colleague, client and broker events and meetings that ensure successful delivery of both in-person and virtual events.

Some events will be hybrid.

  • Responsibilities include working with AIG’s Internal sourcing partner, venue selection, contract negotiations, hotels, development of agendas, coordination of ground transportation, food and beverage, accommodations, and budget reconciliation.
  • Develops the overall event elements needed, defines the event objectives in partnership with internal stakeholders, suggests new and creative approaches to engage attendees, implements the plan, and measures the effectiveness of event experience post event.
  • Responsible for reporting on post-event metrics including hotel block usage and actual attendance.
  • Always in search of new and innovative ideas and ways in which to plan in-person and virtual events.
  • Communicates regularly with executive stakeholders on event status and agenda items from pre-launch through program execution.
  • Will be responsible for overseeing numerous third-party vendors including DMC’s, hotels, caterers, AV, décor, and event collateral.
  • Liaise with Marketing and Communications on all event collateral such as signage, promotional materials, messaging and branding, and presentation materials.
  • Budget reconciliation following each event where they will report to the head of events as well as their business partner.
  • Contribute to the creation of agenda items that are align with business strategies and broker / client needs.
  • Utilize Cvent (AIG’s online registration tool) to register and track meetings and events, manage registration and event spend.
  • Manage VIP special projects and oversee executive logistics.
  • Evaluates program impact and plan for continuous improvement. Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process.

What we’re looking for :

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in marketing and events management, preferably in professional or financial services.
  • Strong event management skills with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, and ability to execute projects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with C-Suite Executives. This person must always be willing to go the extra mile.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed organization and to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong negotiation, project, and time management skills.
  • Budget oversight skills including creation, management, analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Proficient in Cvent software.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Detailed understanding of event and conference contract terms and conditions and experience with contract negotiations.
  • Must be highly creative, enthusiastic, and take an interest in keeping up with the industry trends.
  • Up to 25% travel.

The base salary range for this position is $93,440 - $116,800 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

About the role

This position reports to the Director of Application Engineering.

Liaise with architects, technical teams and leadership (both business and IT) across the organization.

  • Understand functional requirements of IT areas in Technology Engineering, Infrastructure, Legal, Risk, and Project Management in order to drive collaboration.
  • Measure, track and continuously improve service delivery.
  • Manages coordination and direction of large third-party partner relationships.
  • Fulfill program governance requirements including senior stakeholder reporting and administration of key program documents.

What we’re looking for :

  • 10+ years’ experience in roles reflecting increased technical delivery responsibility; 5+ years project management experience.
  • BA / BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Related Field; AWS experience beneficial.

About the role

  • Manages coordination and direction of large third-party partner relationships.
  • Fulfill program governance requirements including senior stakeholder reporting and administration of key program documents.

Manage the production of program / project artifacts, including business cases, requirements, and implementation timelines.

What we’re looking for :

  • 10+ years’ experience in roles reflecting increased technical delivery responsibility; 5+ years project management experience.

This position will be responsible for the development, planning and execution of high-profile, in-person and virtual meetings and events for North America General Insurance, including both internal and external audiences.
