A successful Financial Service Manager II, Retail will analyze, forecast, and report financial data to provide accurate and timely information/insights for strategic and operational decisions in Retail Channels. He/She will interpret financial information on volume performance, cost, price, and revenue and make recommendations to senior management.  This individual contributor is fully proficient in applying established standards, has a knowledge base acquired from several years of experience, works independently, and may coach other professionals.  The role reports to VP Retail Finance but will largely support entire Retail Finance team as needed with Performance Management, Forecasting, Reporting and Initiative/Project Analysis as needed; analyze and interpret financial plans, results and forecast for Customers across Retail Channels.   

 

What You’ll Do for Us 

  • Customer – Support Retail Channel team with FP&A, financial modelling, deals negotiation & analysis, commercial analytics, pricing strategy and other financial reporting. 

  • Investments – DFR/GTM funds allocation/management, DME allocation strategy, brand contribution analysis, innovation value chains, M&A, Investment ROI (return on investment), ad hoc 

  • Forecasting & Planning – Forecasting & BP planning support, system economics, insights, performance management, business integration, P/L validation, emerging business, sustainability, ad hoc 

  • Operations – Support retail business partnership, ad hoc financial analysis

  • Capability Migration and transition support to platform services, project management, NA (North America) OU (Operating Unit) wiring support, scaling end to end tools& processes, etc. 

 

Responsibility/ Ownership Levels:  

  • Develop Solutions for complex business needs 

  • Make Recommendations to Client and OU leadership         

  • Agile financial support to drive business results aligned to LT growth strategy. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred Accounting, Finance or other business discipline with equivalent education and experience) 

  • Preferred Level:  MBA 

  • 5+ years of financial solutions/strategies and influencing work experience required 

  • Strong Excel knowledge required, having experience with Microsoft BI/Tableau is a plus.

Job Overview

Based in the United States or Mexico City, this role is a contributor to Ecoplexus' U.S. based project finance and development teams.

In this role you will be responsible for financial analysis related to project acquisitions and development, modeling debt and tax equity financial structures, and assisting with closing activities for project M&A, debt and tax equity financings.

Assignments will include modeling project economics & scenario testing, organizing & managing project due diligence, and obtaining information from other internal groups to support contract negotiation and closing processes.

Compensation Transparency Statement
