Finance Manager

You will partner with internal Mobile FP&A, Commercial and Mobile Studio Leadership teams and report to the Director of FP&A.

Knowledge of the gaming industry, especially free to play business models, advertising and user acquisition are a significant advantage.
What You’ll Do : Business Partnering
Business Partnering
- You will partner with key leadership to help deliver the long-term strategy
- Drive and assist teams to provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis to assist with decision-making and value creation.
- Influence important decisions by understanding the big picture combined with providing underlying deep financial analysis and insight
- Prepare and hold business reviews for EA’s leadership team with clear and actionable presentation materials
Financial Forecasting and Reporting
- Manage Mobile Platform consolidation (Revenue, Opex, Capex, and Headcount)
- Collaborate with Commercial team on long range, annual and quarterly revenue forecasts by title
- Lead financial reviews with budget owners to develop annual plans and subsequent forecast updates
- Guide analysis to highlight variance drivers and identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve performance
- Responsible for purchase order approvals, budgeted spend tracking, monthly close activities, and headcount management.
Set control processes in place to manage spending and headcount within plan.
Monthly and Quarterly Close
- Manage all close activities for assigned departments including identifying and preparing accrual and reclass entries to ensure precise accounting of known activities
- Ensure compliance with EA’s policies and procedures.
Drive FP&A Excellence
- Help build and retain our world-class FP&A team.
- Identify and lead initiatives to improve, standardize and automate forecasting and reporting tools and processes
Preferred Experience and Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum 6 years of related financial experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge
- Excellent MS Excel (can perform complex functions) and PowerPoint expertise required, knowledge in Power BI and Oracle preferred

Provide Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) support of current quarter, current year, and long-range plan P&L planning & forecasting activities that support major business decisions and overall financial health.

Director, Finance
Primary Objectives :
- Own plan / forecast / actuals financial statement consolidation and analysis for the FP&A team, as well as external reporting
- Leverage a sophisticated FP&A infrastructure to translate company specific and external industry data into key strategic insights that drive forward-thinking business decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement of a cohesive global finance function to produce innovation in reporting, planning and analysis
