The ideal candidate has a background in financial and project management with analytical experience, understands and is familiar with the principles of project management, is well written and well spoken.
This position supports the Noblis MSD Program Management Office (PMO) in the financial execution of contract tasking. Candidate will work directly with various project managers and project control teams and is responsible for reporting on the financial health of the project as well as schedule and deliverable tracking for multiple contracts.
Candidate must be in the San Diego area.
Responsibilities include :
- Principal role of monitoring, controlling, financial management and historical financial data collection and oversight in support of Program and Project Managers.
- Funding analysis, profitability tracking, labor & non-labor financials, program funding charts, monthly expenditure charts, ETC / EAC calculations, Earned Value Management (EVM) charts and cost variance charts to analyze historical financials and track current task spending
- Developing detailed cost estimates (labor and ODC) throughout the contract and prior to each contract award term
- Understanding government contract structures, tracking and managing contract mods and funding lines to coincide with budgets

Job Summary :
Kearny Mesa Hyundai is looking for a Finance Manager to join the high-volume dealership. This individual must have great closing skills and a very strong CSI.
The Finance Manager sells new and used car buyers financing and insurance programs. Finance Manager also works with financial lenders to give fair interest rates to buyers and programs.
Compensation :
Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage at the applicable minimum wage rate ($16.30), plus commissions.
Commission amounts vary based on performance, but the expected average annual earnings are approx. $80,000 to $200,000. The annual / hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum pay range expected for this role.
Compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
Responsibilities :
- Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products, extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
- Maintaining good working relationships with lenders to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
- Processing financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources as well as the proper federal, state and corporate channels.
- Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle finance departments.
- Responsible for maintaining the profitability of the department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
- Training and providing the sales team with information on finance and leasing programs as well as the benefits of the dealership's financing and extended service programs.

Education and Experience :
