The Event Sales Manager generates business by selling and coordinating the execution of private events in Nighthawk. This role will be responsible for all phases of the sales and booking process, as well as the planning and coordination of the event through execution.
In this position, the Event Sales Manager will participate in the continuing effort to deliver distinctively different guest experiences and nurture lasting relationships with our customers with focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of optimum sales objectives.
Essential Functions
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets through building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Respond to sales inquiries and contact potential clients to build and nurture lasting business relationships.
- Solicit private / corporate events.
- Weekly sales forecasting and reporting sales efforts.
- Attends off site networking events to build clientele.
- Understand the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and strategically sell against our competition.
- Take initiative to go beyond the ordinary to differentiate us from the competition and create loyalty.
- Anticipate our guests’ needs and respond promptly.
- Create, execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
- Produce quotes and written confirmation to all clients
- Assist clients through the planning and detail stage after booking an event, developing and enhancing the BEO and communicating to Culinary and Operations leaders in advance and during event execution to ensure a flawless experience.
- Meet with clients and potential clients and conduct onsite showings and inspections to promote facilities and services.
- Maintain established client relationships and generate new relationships during event.
- Work with the GM to ensure all events are accurately costed and deliver profit at company-agreed margins.
- Assists and / or completes additional tasks as assigned by Director Restaurants, Bars and Events.

- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Sales + Marketing or related field (or equivalent work experience) preferred.
- Prior Restaurant Sales experience required. Must demonstrate consistent experience of strong revenue production, regularly meeting or exceeding targets.
- Prior experience in a luxury or boutique hotel or restaurant environment required.
- Prior experience using Microsoft Office required. Experience with web-based Outlook 365 required.
- Experience with restaurant reservations software (Tock) and Sales + Catering software (Envision Suites, Social Tables, Opera) preferred.
- Experience with web-based communication programs needed.
- Result driven with the ability to meet or exceed budgeted sales goals.
- Knowledge of profitability analysis and budgeting, cost of sales, payroll management, purchasing, receiving, inventories and cost controls
- Knowledge of state and local laws as it applies to liquor, labor, and health code regulations
- Must be able to communicate professionally and diplomatically in English, both written and verbal.
- Passion for hospitality, unwavering commitment and a hunger to grow.
- Conversational abilities in other languages helpful.
- Must be able to move throughout crowded restaurant and bar areas.
- Must be able to sit and communicate via telephone for long periods of time
- Must be able to multi-task and display ability to recognize that the guests’ interests and needs are always primary.
- Must be available to work daytime, evening, weekend or holiday hours as business dictates in order to maintain superior guest and client relationships

Shift : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
Our Client is seeking a Buyer Planner to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently planning, purchasing and managing assigned supply points and / or product lines while maintaining high customer service levels.
You will work closely with supervisors to ensure all customer commitment dates are met and release purchase orders for production material as required.

Demand planner
The primary role of the demand planner is to develop a demand forecast. This position is a key driver in managing the customer and consumer demand signals to align commercial and supply chain activity.
This is a critical role in the S&OP process as order fulfillment and inventory plans rely on this information. The demand planner will work using the Blue Ridge planning system and data insights to improve forecast accuracy.
This person is a hands-on worker who will drive the creation of a demand forecast and work with other functional teams to develop a consensus forecast plan.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities :
- Work with commercial teams to develop and manage depletion forecasts for the prescribed future horizon
- Maintain forecasts and all demand planning data, and provide end user training to commercial teams where applicable
- Lead monthly Demand Planning reviews, using all appropriate tools and data with Commercial and Supply Planning, to ensure the forecast is realistic and deliverable
- Coordinate the execution of the forecast plan with Commercial and Customer Services teams, effectively managing any exceptions due to limited supply
- Communicate ongoing forecast changes to stakeholders in the Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance organizations, and, where appropriate, Suppliers’ teams
- Identify and report significant promotional activity; ensuring events and exceptions are reviewed with Commercial, Supply Planning and Customer Services in a timely fashion
- Review and publish forecast accuracy reporting, and identify areas for improvement
- Facilitate training and improvement plans for business users
- Manage the system generated exception reports, to ensure the most up-to-date demand is visible to all stakeholders
