Your Role :

  • Prepare environmental documents including NEPA documents (CatEx's, EA's, and EIS's), wetland delineation reports, permit applications, Endangered Species Act documents (BA's, BE's, and no effect letters), and other related documents
  • Manage and lead tasks associated with environmental projects, including assisting with developing proposals and cost estimates, executing project tasks, managing project budgets and forecasts, ensuring client satisfaction, and mentoring staff

  • Research and interpret federal, state, and local regulations on a project-specific basis to assess project permitting feasibility and requirements, and interface with regulatory agencies
  • Interface with clients during project execution to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed

Required Qualifications :

  • B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Marine Science, Geography, Biology, or related degree
  • 5 to 15+ years related experience in a wide variety of technical areas, and potentially including experience with project management and leading / managing technical teams
  • Ability to produce written reports and related documents that demonstrate solid technical writing and critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to foster a positive work culture
  • Valid driver's license required

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Environmental consulting or agency experience
  • Willingness to perform occasional fieldwork and site visits, approximately 2-6 times per year. Experience using fieldwork equipment and software (GPS units, etc.)
  • Experience with the resources and regulatory agencies in the Pacific Northwest and California, and federal agencies especially USACE and USCG
  • Willingness to work in the office or on a hybrid schedule is preferred, fully remote will be considered under certain circumstances

Position Summary

Department Manager - Manage and supervise the housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff; at a single site according to policies and procedures and federal / state requirements.

Responsible for performing and leading teams to complete light housekeeper, heavy housekeeper, and laundry aide duties on varying shifts.

Training & Development - Leads staff training, quality control, and in-servicing. Coordinates and ensures the satisfactory and timely completion of project and program work done in the building on varying shifts.

Tour the building several times per day to assess work quality using QCIs for documentation purposes.

  • Reporting - Maintain income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment records.
  • Communication - Acts as liaison between building occupants or administrators and HCSG staff. Communicates effectively with all directives from managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.
  • Safety - Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions. Responsible for assisting in the training of safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety precautions.

Reporting equipment / cleaning product needs and or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion. Ensure the established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
