Your Opportunity
As a Staff Planner, within our Community Development business line you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of public and private sector planning projects and have a significant role in our Brownfields redevelopment practice.
Our Brownfields Asset Transformation team works with communities in creating a vision for their area, followed by an implementation and funding plan.
Our team then works long-term with communities to implement the funding, design, and engineering. Projects often translate from working with municipalities to working with the developers.
Variety is vast, as every community has different challenges to overcome. We work on areas with large environmental issues, transit-oriented desires, resiliency challenges, mixed-income developments, outdoor spaces, and more.
Opportunities to work on non-brownfields redevelopment projects will also be available. We connect the people, places, and resources that take a project from concept to reality.
Your Key Responsibilities
Working on a variety of brownfield redevelopment tasks.
Writing and assisting on managing federal, state, and local grants.
Completes tasks and delegates specific tasks to other team members as appropriate.
Effectively coordinates with the project team through the planning and design phase of projects.
Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates the technical aspects of assigned projects.
Working on community visioning plans and site-specific designs.
Performs due diligence and research on projects as required to provide the background information to start a new project.
Works within defined project scopes, budgets and schedules.
Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Educational or professional experience in : brownfields planning, environmental planning, redevelopment, urban design, comprehensive land planning, community engagement, public and / or private sector planning
Strong writing skills are a must.
Experience writing and / or managing grants is a strong plus.
Understanding of planning and design concepts.
Ability to facilitate workshops and public citizen input both virtually and in-person.
Knowledge of EPA Brownfields program is a strong plus.
Effective communicator and able to work on teams.
Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation.
Working knowledge of relevant drafting / design software, such as GIS, Lumion, AutoCADD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat are a plus but not required.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Planning, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
AICP or PLA, certification a plus.
0 to 5 of years of Environmental or Land Planning experience.
Typical office environment working with computers. Some travel may be required to meet with reviewing agencies or clients or to attend public workshops and public hearings.
May occasionally visit study areas, construction sites and / or be exposed to outside elements and inclement weather conditions.

A successful Training Coordinator will :
- Creates and distributes training and corporate policy materials while managing AMR’s internal learning management tools.
- Works with Management and Executive teams to identify and assess future and current training needs of individuals and teams.
- Leads and facilitates weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc training calls with corporate and In-Destination Sales and Distribution teams.
- Organizes In-Destination Sales and Distribution orientation for newly appointed staff.
- Creates and distributes surveys for feedback, publishes the Distribution monthly newsletter that is circulated internally.
- Supports the Corporate and In-Destination Sales teams with other duties or special projects.
- Support Rate Parity Enforcement .
A successful Training Coordinator will have :
- High School Diploma Required
- 1-3 years of experience

Bristol Bay Construction Holdings (BBCH) is growing! We are seeking a driven Entry Level Environmental Engineer to join Aerostar SES LLC (ASL), a subsidiary of BBCH.
In this critical role, you'll assist, and oversee the construction of air sparge and soil vapor extraction and / or other types of remediation systems.
This includes operating small to medium-sized heavy equipment to conduct trenching, installing piping, integrity testing, connecting pumps, flowmeters, sensors, installing concrete, etc.

Responsibilities
- Learn and conduct operation and maintenance of operating remediation systems including collecting well data and air samples for the evaluation of the operating system.
- Troubleshoot remediation system or tripped sensor alarm
- problems.
- Perform pilot tests for remediation systems.
- Conduct groundwater, soil, and air sampling.
- Assist in preparing reports for remediation systems including tables, figures, laboratory analysis, etc.
- Communicate with project managers and engineers regarding remediation system efficiency, problems, and possible solutions.
- Learn the fieldwork required to install, operate, and maintain remediation systems progressing towards running crews, designing systems, engineering advancement, and project management.
Qualifications
