WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

The Electrician will apply electrical theory, NEC and related knowledge to install and modify developmental or operational electrical infrastructure for machinery and electrical control equipment in all of the industrial plants at Bolthouse Farms.

Responsible for electrical installations, i.e., conduit, wire pulls, conduit, control panels etc.

  • Installation of various types and sizes of conduits (Robroy, Ridgid,EMT etc.)
  • Apply proper Lock-out / Tag-out and other safe work practices
  • Deliver the best possible craftsmanship to ensure proper function of equipment.
  • Identify faulty components and ability to replace such components in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform connections in the best craftsmanship possible, using proper techniques
  • Performing preventative maintenance of electrical systems including servicing motors, control panels, and changing relays, etc.
  • Follow NEC guidelines for every installation
  • Weekends and Night shiftwork will be required as needed
  • Assist with the commissioning of new equipment installations
  • Safety mindset is always expected
  • Installations of motors, lights, small dry type transformers, control panels etc.
  • Preform other duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven, reliable work history
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical construction
  • Valid California driver license and clean driving record

Additional Required Qualifications :

  • Ability to stay current on latest changes of the laws and regulation involving the NEC, OSHA, NFPA

Qualifications

Teaching experience is not required if you are an expert in the field. We will train

  • Academic training and credentials.
  • Thirty-six months of related occupational experience.
  • Electrician Journeyman License or equivalent or C10 contractor license is preferred.
