Minimum Requirements :
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a current and valid Driver's License AND minimum of five (5) years safe driving record / history.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, all shifts are chosen by seniority so new drivers must be flexible and able to work evenings and weekends.
- Must successfully pass drug, physical & background test as required by DOT

Delivery Driver
Summary : Delivery Driver's primary responsibility is to deliver sandwiches to customers in the designated delivery area.
Drivers are expected to check all products for accuracy against quality standards and deliver products to customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner.
Drivers will also work as an In Shopper when no deliveries are scheduled.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Takes telephone orders and completes delivery tickets in a courteous and timely manner
- Delivers sandwich orders to customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner in established delivery area only
- Accepts payment from customers for orders
- Works with management at the end of the shift to reconcile cash from delivery sales
- Makes fast, accurate and consistent sandwiches
- Complies with all portion sizes, recipes, systems and procedures
- Must be able to pass sandwich test at end of first two weeks of employment and at future testing times
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, beverage station and restrooms
- Greets customers, takes orders, operates cash register, collects payments from customers and makes change
- Executes genuine greetings and farewells
- Fills out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity
- Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with the dress code
- Displays a positive attitude and enthusiastic approach to all assignments

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Environment :
Must be able to speak, read and write the English language fluently and clearly. Ability to use basic math, addition and subtraction, understand basic fractions.
Required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

Delivery Driver checks all products for accuracy against quality standards and
delivers products to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner while
working as part of a team. Support the restaurant by performing other
workstation duties. Comply with Papa John’s uniform, appearance, and operations
standards as defined in the Operations Manual, PIZZAcademy, Team Member
Handbook, and with federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.
Pay Rate : Delivery drivers earn minimum wage plus tips and delivery reimbursement. Total hourly wages, including tips and delivery reimbursement can be as high as $22 to $30 per hour.
Tips and delivery reimbursement are paid out daily at the end of each shift.

Position Overview :
The Driver is responsible for delivering products to clients; inspect general condition of vehicle; prepare, load, unload, operate, and clean vehicle including following all safety precautions in accordance with SGWS and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
Review standing orders, develop sales, process payments, and maintain records.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE :
- Drive established route to deliver products to assigned locations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle prior to commencing route.
- Always adhere to safe and courteous operation of delivery vehicle.
- Complete all required paperwork daily, including Department of Transportation logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR).
- Report to work in adherence to company uniform standards (e.g., neat, clean, and properly attired).
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and perform all duties in a safe manner.
- Plan trip logistics and obtain necessary documents to transport goods.
- Load and unloaded cargo make sure safety equipment is being utilized.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements.
- Communicate changes to delivery schedules, delays, arrivals and / or equipment problems as encountered
- Follow / adhere to all traffic laws.
- Maintain vehicle, product, and equipment tidy and in good working order.
