Job Summary :
This position operates a tractor-trailer and is responsible for delivering ice to customers and company locations. The driver is assigned a specific geographic market or route, which may require overnight stays.
The market or route is subject to change depending on business needs.
This is a full-time, permanent position with Reddy Ice that includes a competitive hourly wage, a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a company-matching 401(k) plan.

Education & Experience Required :
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have a current / valid class A CDL license
- Minimum of 2 years long haul (over-the-road) experience
- Minimum of one-year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with the company is required
- Must possess driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standards
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements :
Must be able to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in a variety of weather and traffic situations. Very labor intensive due to amount of lifting, bending, and stacking ice to off load product.
Must be able to lift up to 40-pound bags of ice and move up to 700 - 1000 lbs. of ice with assistance of proper equipment.
This is a constant procedure throughout the day. Temperatures within trailer are 28 30 . Must meet physical requirements per US Department of Transportation guidelines and be able to climb in / out of vehicle, including cargo and driver areas.

Driver
Coordinates transportation with agency administration for Senior nutrition program
and after-school pick-up.
Assists inSeniorCitizensProgramCoordinatorwithduties relatedtoSenior Citizens Program
activities and transportation needed for participants.
Assists Coordinator withdelivery of meals (lunch and dinner) to Seniors affected by
COVID-19.
Assistwithmaintainingacleanandorganizedenvironmentinspacesunder best practices
to combat COVID-19 virus.
Maintainsclients routes and addresses for use of program services. Ensure that meals
are delivered in a safe and timely manner.
Coordinates designated transportation for after-school children.
Performsother relatedduties as assigned.
APPLICANT MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of COVID-19 transmission prevention strategies.
Must demonstrate a positive attitude and be a team player.
Must have reliable transportation.

Detailer/Driver
OVERVIEW : The Detailer responsibilities include cleaning the interior and exterior of boats and trailers. Maintain clean and presentable boats and ready boats for delivery to the new owner.
The Driver responsibilities include transporting boats, trailers and related equipment to and from MarineMax dealerships and other designated locations.
KEY TASKS :
- Perform final finish / detail on deliveries, in-stock and service boats, including cleaning windows, upholstery, canvas, isinglass, bilges, fiberglass and wood.
- Use of high speed buffers and polishers to properly detail the exterior surfaces
- Removing dust, grease and oil from exterior surfaces of boats and trailers.
- Knowledge of proper products for safe detailing of vessels properly including but not limited to cleaners for various surfaces, degreasers, and waxes.
- Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the dealership to ensure a professional work environment conducive to selling
- Assist with the setup of boat shows and other off-site promotional events.
- Must be a team player

- Drives truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads
- Ensures proper documentation received for boats, trailers, or related equipment delivered or picked up
- Maintains a clean driving record

- Loads and unloads trucks
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil or water
- May perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains and spark plugs
- May position blocks and tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit
- Assists in showroom display including the moving and positioning of boats
- Assist with boat show preparations
- We will train to retrieve and launch boats from / into the water
- May perform canvas and equipment tear-down for transport
- Ensures safety of team members and items being transported

You’ll travel locally to deliver building materials to our customers, while adhering to and understanding safety policies and regulations.
We are currently looking for a special truck conveyor truck driver to add to our growing team.
A clean driving record and top-notch customer service skills are a must! Experienced, safety conscious, and customer-focused drivers encouraged to apply!

- The ideal candidate will always put safety first and will always wear appropriate PPE
- Should prefer working in a team environment but be comfortable working on independent tasks

- Conveyor Experience highly preferred

- Knuckle Boom and / or Moffett experience
- Prefer 12 months of prior and verifiable commercial driving experience
