Driver duties include :
- Operates a wheelchair accessible passenger motor vehicle, including accessories, to provide client transportation to and from assigned destinations.
- Ensures that all passenger vehicles are cleaned on the outside and sanitized on the inside throughout the entire shift, and before the beginning and ending of the shift.
- Insures safe transport of clients and staff
- Provides for the wellbeing of the clients while boarding, traveling and disembarking from vehicles.
- Insures all safety policies and procedures are followed as prescribed.
- Insures efficient and safe operating condition of vehicles (i.e., check oil, gas, coolant, tire pressure.)
- Provides a clean (inside and out) vehicle.
- Insures vehicles are properly equipped with items necessary (i.e., oxygen, first aid kit, emergency flares, telephone / numbers.
- Delivers or picks up supplies or equipment as necessary
- Assists maintenance and housekeeping when necessary
- Maintains a safe driving record
- Other duties as assigned
Cash Incentives :
- $1000 - $1,500 Employee Referral (for successfully* referring someone to employment)
- Up to an extra $2,080 a year in lieu of Health Insurance coverage (see benefits below)

- Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and efficiently in traffic and under adverse climate conditions.
- Experience operating a wheel chair van preferred.
- Knowledge of motor vehicle equipment and the methods used in servicing and making minor repairs.
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
- Demonstrate confidentiality as required for the position, and ability to accept change in routine without notice.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- High school diploma / GED
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable means of transportation
- Ability to lift 50lbs and transfer without restrictions
- Successfully complete background, physical, and drug screening
