Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Dispatcher include, but are not limited to :
- Managing incoming customers for both dump and material pick-up to ensure smooth, prompt flow through the plant.
- Ensuring customer service and quality of work and products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Ensuring all customer tickets are completed within the work shift.
- Entering quotes made into the quote log within the work shift.
- Managing payment receipt for all cash customers, including cash and credit card sales.
- Responsible for the proper control of cash handling and receipts within the plant during his / her shift, including strict adherence to cash accounting procedures.
- Ensuring customer trucks are not overfilled by effective use of top off system. If overfill occurs, manages truck trim process, ensuring correct weight and fastest possible process time for the customer.
- Maintaining the stability and reputation of the company by complying with legal and contract requirements.
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
establishing personal networks.
- Responsible to ensure that all work activities are conducted in a safe and diligent manner.
- Must be able to work rotating weekends and occasional holidays.
- Other duties / responsibilities that may be assigned by the Plant General Manager from time to time.

This full-time dispatching position typically works Monday thru Friday 8 am - 5 pm with the opportunity to work on-call once a month .

Job Duties Include :
- Communicate with customers and field technicians
- Dispatch workers, crews, vehicles, and equipment to appropriate locations

Bakery Dispatcher is responsible for maintaining well stocked bakery display cases with a variety of breads, pastries, deserts, and cakes.
Safely and efficiently assist in maintaining all bakery department areas clean. Responsible for smiling and greeting all customers while delivering extraordinary customer service and responds to customers’ requests, to meet the goals and objectives of the department.
