- In conjunction with the Energy Team, work with International Utilities to understand HV/MV substation design and impacts to assess risk and impacts on our builds
- Manage/review site test-fits and site plans
- Provide engineering design decisions to the planning team for strategic planning and region selection.
- Work with internal teams to understand design requirements and solicit internal customer input.
- Collaborate with other disciplines such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architects to assess how our various products can be deployed in that region
- Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.
- Escalate issues as required and communicate clearly and effectively at the appropriate level of detail with people from a wide range of technical abilities and backgrounds.

As an Amazon Fleet Remediation Project Design Engineer, you will lead design projects in operational data centers, that remediate issues, upgrade our existing infrastructure or add new services. You will be the 'go to' engineering resource for these projects and will provide lifecycle support from design through implementation. You will use your electrical expertise to:
- Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions which add data center infrastructure, capacity, improve availability, and/or increase sustainability.
- Prepare/review short circuit coordination studies and maintain the software models to march as-built site conditions.
- Perform design and equipment submittal review for Data Centers in your region.
