PrideStaff San Diego is working with a well-established logistics client, located in San Diego who is looking for an Advanced Excel Associate to help them with a project.
Note : this role requires advanced Excel skills and data entry experience.
This is a temporary position estimated at 3-6 months in duration, based in San Diego, CA, Monday to Friday, full time, and pays $23.
80 per hour. This is a hybrid role after the training.
If you have at least 2-3 years of experience in data entry, reviewing / analyzing information, and have advanced Excel working experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUP etc - then this is a job for you!

Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and entering data into databases, maintaining accurate records of valuable company information, and processing and managing supplier information, including tracking shipment statuses, updating incoterms, moving materials in the system to specific locations, and reporting.
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Must have advanced abilities working with MS Excel spreadsheets (Excel Macro / MS Access)
- Be able to set up, troubleshoot, and run accurate macros in Excel
- Previous experience with data entry
- High attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills and flexibility
- Experience reviewing data and compiling information
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player
- Be available for the whole project (up to 6 months)
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Have reliable transportation.
Job Functions
- Accurately, and efficiently, perform data entry of information from a variety of forms as directed by the supervisor
- Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without errors
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output
- Compile and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
- Respond to routine verbal and written requests for information from internal sources as needed
- Identify and submit potential problems or issues to appropriate level of management
- Other duties as assigned.
