POSITION SUMMARY :
Sound Physicians is looking for a highly skilled, organized self-starter to assist our anesthesia professional services business line as a Data Analyst.
This role is focused on analyzing anesthesia billing related data for prospective sales opportunities as well as existing clients.
The Data Analyst will be a liaison between Business Development representatives and other stakeholders, to ensure accurate and complete data is received from prospective clients.
The Data Analyst will work closely with the Director, Revenue Cycle, Revenue Projection Analysts and Director of Payer Contracting to supply necessary data to create accurate revenue projections.
The analyst will also compile data from Sound’s revenue cycle vendors / systems to provide analysis on revenue cycle performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work cross functionally to ensure data is received. Identify missing or inadequate anesthesia billing related data and quickly communicate what is needed
- Consolidate data from various sources, into a complete cohesive format in Microsoft Excel. This will involve expert level Microsoft Excel skills
- Analyze and troubleshoot gaps, inconsistencies, and possible inaccuracies in the data, through knowledge of anesthesia billing requirements
- Produce revenue projections using standard excel templates
- Work directly with internal Financial Analysts who use the Revenue Projections to create sales proposals
- Retrieve, analyze and present revenue cycle performance data to Director, Revenue Cycle, Regional Revenue Manager, and other stakeholders who track client performance
- Perform deep analysis on site level accounts receivable to identify areas for additional research and correction
- Create templates and reports in Excel or other formats, that streamline work effort and standardize presentation of performance data
