This role will oversee strategy, development and execution of live action video, motion graphics, and animation across projects that range from large first-of-their-kind launches to small, one-off exercises, working closely with Apple’s product design, brand design and content teams! The ideal candidate has a seasoned background in video strategy and a passion for storytelling, design, media and technology.
This role requires collaborative leadership, working cross-functionally on a range of deliverables across product, content, experiential and communication platforms.
Day to day includes managing in-house and 3rd party creative teams to deliver compelling original content while taking into account many expert POV’s along the way.
Key Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience as an ACD or Creative Director in a creative-focused agency or in-house at a leading brand.
- A diverse portfolio of award-winning digital creative work.
- Expert in short form and serial video content, and understands how to make digital video that compels a user to watch.
- Experience analyzing trends in viewership and how to use data to measure the success of digital video concepts.
- Great writer who has strong narrative skills and understands the nuances of the Apple voice.
- Top notch people manager; this role oversees a small team of motion creatives, and good management and mentorship are paramount.
- Ability to distill complex ideas into succinct, beautifully designed presentation decks, and have substantial experience with presenting to a wide range of audiences from internal team up to executive.
- Thrives while juggling multiple projects at one time, and can provide clear and timely direction and effective feedback across multiple mediums from including static, motion and live action.

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $168,000 and $253,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Job Summary :
The Executive Director, Creative Services is responsible providing strategic oversight and tactical precision to the development of compelling storytelling across a diversity of platforms, audiences, and objectives, and deploying communications collateral to motivate audiences to action.
