- Assist in keeping the kitchen clean throughout the shift maintaining clean as you go and consistently following closing sanitation procedures.
- Partner with Manager on Duty of all safety, sanitation, or team member issues.
- Anticipates guest and restaurant needs by constantly evaluating environment and guests for cues.
- Contributes to a positive team environment by working collaboratively with other team members, including training new cooks, and partnering with the General Manager on concerns.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Follow directions given by Manager on Duty; and asks for clarification when needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the General Manager and Restaurant Manager, the Cook prepares and presents food to order following Denny’s menu and food specifications and timing standards.
Adheres to all federal, state, and local safe food handling regulations.
Essential Functions
- Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs throughout shift; place items on high and low shelves in store rooms, service areas, walk-in coolers, and freezers
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift and grasp
