Requirements :
- One year relevant experience required
- Three years of high-volume food production experience including one year of supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Five years supervisory experience, culinary degree or certificate preferred
- Inventory control, purchasing, costing, and forecasting experience preferred
- Food Handlers Permit preferred
- ServSafe Certification preferred within 90 days of hire
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions
- Demonstrated basic computer and math skills
Environment :

Job Summary :
- This position is recognized as a technical expert for other chefs and cooks within the department.
- Under direct supervision of the Executive Chef and manager of support services, Chef performs a variety of food service duties for patients, employees, medical staff, and visitors.
