  • Present information clearly and describe casino programs and promotions to guests and agents.
  • This position is responsible for handling casino room reservations, explaining casino offers, promotions and events to guests.
  • Ensure efficient and proper service for VIP guests.
  • Work in a professional manner and capacity as a team member
  • Provide effective communication with all team members regarding casino promotions and events.
  • Assist guests with any questions or information that they might need.
  • The individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area
  • Assist in the execution of all promotions and events.
  • Assists in handling all reports and guest follow up relating to promotions.
  • Assists the Casino Services Manager and Player Development Manager with multiple projects, both administrative and technical.
  • May be called upon to handle assets such as prize certificates.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Requirements

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in gaming or hospitality environment, excellent communication and written skills.
  • Knowledge of computer functions : LMS / CMS / Infinium, CDS / Superplaymate, Microsoft Excel and Word, the Internet.
  • Possess excellent skills in people management.
  • Must be able to think independently and resolve customer issues on the spot, calmly and professionally.
  • Respond calmly and make decisions.

WORK CONDITIONS :

Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second hand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft.

Overview

It is the primary responsibility of the EVS Casino Porter to maintain the cleanliness of the property, both indoors and outdoors including working in high traffic areas, caring for the floors, carpets, walls, ceilings, facades, and cleaning in areas that include but are not limited to, walkways, casino, restrooms, restaurants, retail stores, office areas, and entrances to property.

  • Will create test cases and perform user acceptance testing (UAT); ensure validation of business requirements and documented results.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed for the Job :

Qualifications :

  • Experience writing user stories. (A User Story is a tool in which requirements are captured in an easy-to-understand plain language, and is written from the perspective of an end user.)
  • An understanding of an Agile development environment is a BIG plus.
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience designing entity-relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams, software user interfaces, end-user reporting, and other software / data models preferred.

Travel :
