Food Service positions!
Patient Dining Assistant : The Patient Dining Assistant will provide meal assistance, including meal selection, service, and retrieval, to patients on a daily basis based on physician’s diet orders.
Cashier : The Cashier will operate the cash register accurately with no over rings or shortages. They will ensure that the cash drawer has proper levels of cash, obtaining additional change as necessary.
Cook : The Cook will prepare and cook to order fast food on a grill; prepare steam table or other equipment used in serving meals;
break down and clean grill after each meal and assist patients as needed.
Required Education / Experience :
- Prior experience as a dietary aide, food service worker, or cook is required.
- Superior interpersonal skills to interact daily with external as well as internal customers.
Hours / Schedules : 8 and 12 hour shifts available. These positions are fully on-site in Chicago.

Manage transactions with customers using cash registers Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate Collect payments whether in cash or credit Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets Redeem stamps and coupons Cross-sell products and introduce new ones Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information Greet customers when entering or leaving the store Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies Bag, box or gift-wrap packages Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
