Our Pharmacy Technicians answer questions from how to lower out-of-pocket cost on prescription medications to providing directions on how to transfer prescriptions between retail pharmacies.
Using their skills as a retail pharmacy technician, they spend most of your time providing excellent customer service to all internal and external customers by educating our members with how they can better navigate the pharmacy world to lower their prescription cost via inbound and outbound calls.
Outbound calls will be made to existing customers simply to provide them with more detailed information about our products and services.
This position requires you to be stationed at a desk and on the phone 90% of the time. The remaining 10% will be for trainings, meetings, and other duties.
Education / Certifications :
High School Diploma / GED or higher is required
PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (must gain within 6 months of employment)
Job Duties :
Answer incoming calls from Company members / customers
Assist members with directions to identify and realize savings opportunities highlighted by the Company software system
Assist members on all issues related to processing of pharmacy claims
Coordinates internal resolution of customer issues
Assist with research projects relating to pharmacy pricing
Educates members on benefits of Rx Savings Solutions services
Perform other duties as reasonably requested by management
Requirements :
4-5 years of customer service or call center experience
5+ years of pharmacy experience in a retail setting
Communicate in a professional manner with our members and colleagues
Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and problem solve
Demonstrate ability to work with confidential information and in a deadline driven environment
Ability to effectively navigating a computer
Working knowledge of Outlook and Excel. If no experience but willing to learn, we'll be happy to teach you
Be available to work during the hours of operations based on current member needs : Monday through Friday 7 am to 8 pm (no weekends!!!)
