The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with an ability to build and articulate pricing strategy for government work to senior business and finance leaders. You will be familiar with managing and preparing financial analysis, critical to tracking the performance of the Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) proposals and request for information from customers. This role requires a self-starter with superb business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a track record of delivering results to the business. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the success of our business by developing accurate and competitive pricing strategies for our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify cost drivers, and analyze market trends to ensure our pricing remains competitive. You will also be responsible for developing basis of estimates for proposals, ensuring consistent estimating practices across the KGS lines of business, and supporting negotiations with customers and suppliers.

This position is in Arlington, VA. Some travel, will be required.

Key job responsibilities
• Provide analytical support and leadership in cost analysis and cost estimation
• Conduct research and analysis of the current market and other agency purchases of similar products and services, review historical prices, perform comparative analysis to similar programs, and obtain pricing data to facilitate the development of realistic program costs
• Develop and prepare estimates, prices and forecasts.
• Develop baseline cost estimates for projects or products that are used frequently. Support the development of metrics to track the cost estimate versus the actual cost and to create mitigation strategies to resolve differences
• Evaluate requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembling price proposals
• Perform analyses in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.).
• Develop and maintain pricing methods and models for Kuiper Government Solutions
• Supports compliance activities
• Support RFPs, RFIs for the growing KGS in a very ambiguous start-up environment
• Effectively build cross functional relationships; key to understanding the performance and direction of the business for modeling and analysis
