Apply in person Monday thru Friday from 9am - 3pm at 260 Old Route 17, Hillburn, NY 10931. Responsibilities : What will you do?

• Safely transport the people of our community in a transit bus in a timely, professional and helpful manner.
• Greet passengers and accept fare payment.
• Report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns as required.
• Other duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers.

Qualifications : What you will need?

• Be courteous and professional.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Be safety minded.
• A valid Drivers' License.
• Possess or have a willingness and the ability to obtain your Class B or higher Commercial Drivers' License (CDL) with a Passenger Endorsement, within 30 days of hire - we'll cover the rest.
• Able to read and write English.
• Enjoy driving.

We are hiring CDL drivers for mini school bus routes in Brooklyn and Queens.

Full Time or Part Time Available, English or Spanish

The responsibilities of a bus driver include : Transporting children on fixed routes to and from various locations throughout Brooklyn and Queens.

Drivers are responsible for completing a pre-trip vehicle inspection, operating the vehicle carefully in compliance with traffic regulations, and ensuring that all passengers are transported safely and on time.
