Organize products on our shelves and restock as necessary
Actively identify any additional safety hazards and escalate to Cafe Leadership.
Complete opening and closing tasks and checklists.
Participate in weekly, monthly and quarterly deep cleans of the cafe.
Proactively maintain and improve the appearance of the Cafe and coffee bar. Sanitize and clean the cafe area as needed throughout the shift.

Chimney Coffee is a neighborhood cafe in an up-and-coming area of Chinatown Los Angeles. We are looking for a new member for our team to better serve our community - does this sound like it could be you?
What we are looking for in an ideal barista :
- Friendly and knows how to keep a clean working area and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and be a part of the team.
- Must be able to handle cash properly
- Be courteous and hard working.
- Food handling is a must - we require a food handler certificate such as ServSafe for the job.
- We are a full featured cafe, so daily responsibilities will entail serving food and cleaning tables.
- This job entails side tasks such as washing dishes, sweeping floors, & keeping inventory. If you enjoy making the store and our team around you better, then we'd love to have you join us.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Experience working at least 1 year in hospitality is required.
- Experience working in coffee is not required, but is a plus.
