Cafe Hollywood, the new restaurant located on the casino floor of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, is a celebration all things Hollywood.

The restaurant features a fun, hip atmosphere, combining retro and modern designs with an incredible menu, chic wine bar and The Counter filled with fresh pastries, coffee, gelato and the hub for all take-out.

Guests are entertained with a multimedia celebration of iconic Planet Hollywood moments featuring highlights of its storied 25-year history including legendary grand opening celebrations.

High-energy video and photography montages of the company’s most exciting events and gatherings are broadcast on Café Hollywood’s 35 monitors, and a photo gallery of incredible entertainment moments decorates the walls in between the monitors.

Open 24 hours, the Café Hollywood menu appeals to all tastes. From all day breakfast to late night dinner, guests will find their favorites on the menu and will discover new additions and options.

The sleek wine bar and lounge will offer over 40 different wine varietals, 24 of them by-the-glass as well as full bar and small plates.

The wine bar and lounge is ideal pre or post theater for cocktails and light bites, happy hour with friends or anytime a great wine, craft beer or cocktail is called for.

Facilitate food service. Clean tables, carry dirty dishes, replace soiled table linens; set tables; replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes.

Requirements

Essential Functions : The following list is not inclusive of additional responsibilities that may be requested by the Bar Manager

• Wipe tables and seats with dampened cloths, and replace dirty tablecloths.
• Set tables with clean linens, condiments, and other supplies.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
• Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash.
• Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays.
• Fill beverage and ice dispensers.
• Stock cabinets and serving areas with condiments, and refill condiment containers as necessary.
• Locate items requested by customers.
• Carry food, dishes, trays, and silverware from kitchens and supply departments to serving counters.
• Serve food to customers when waiters and waitresses need assistance.
• Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, and equipment in food service areas and other areas of restaurants, and mop and vacuum floors.
• Replenish supplies of food and equipment at steam tables and service bars.
• Wash glasses and other serving equipment at bars.
• Stock refrigerating units with wines and bottled beer, and replace empty beer kegs.
• Slice and pit fruit used to garnish drinks. QUALIFICATIONS :

We are looking for an On-Call Casino Barback that will provide friendly and excellent service to every guest as well as keep the casino bar area clean and stocked at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring a consistent flow of services to guest and cocktail servers by assisting bartender with their job functions.
• Knowledge of Beers, wines, liquors and non-alcoholic products including dry goods.
• Knowledge of tapping and removing beer kegs.
• Knowledge of SNHD protocol.
• Communicate effectively with management for any product missing or out of date.
• Collaborate with management team and bartenders to perform regular inventories, ascertain par levels for items and compile weekly orders.
• Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the bar tops, bar wells, floors, coolers and related job storage.
• Maintains par stock levels during and before end of shift.
• Process all requisition from beverage vendors and / or any warehouse confirming all items were properly ordered and received.
• Distribute all orders to the appropriate locations.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift and bend.
• Perform all other job-related duties as requested.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Recommended Casino Barback experience but not required.

Must be 21 years old.

Must have or be able to acquire a valid NV Health Card, TAM and Non-Gaming Card. Be able to reach, bend, pull and lift up to 30 lbs.

Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels.

Position Summary :

POSITION DESCRIPTION POSTION : BUS ATTENDANT / BARBACK FLSA DESIGNATION : NON-EXEMPT POSITION REPORTS TO : RESTAURANT MANAGER POSITION PURPOSE : The Bus Attendant / Barback's responsibilities include assisting Servers or Bartenders in steps of guest service, resets tables in a speedy, professional and effective manner.

Interacts with the restaurant guests, fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES : Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests. Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the tables.

Deliver, fill, re-fill water, as requested by guests and / or directed by servers. Clears and resets tables, cleans table area, including banquettes, during service.

Helps ensure guest satisfaction through active participation in service. Maintain general cleanliness of stations and entire venue.

Properly sets-up floor and side stations, performs side-work and other opening / closing procedures as directed by management, including : Responsible for making sure all tables and chairs / banquettes are clean and free of debris Sets tables with proper settings Wipes down chairs, tables and banquettes Stocks side-stations with prescribed supplies Performs opening side-work as prescribed Performs closing side-work as prescribed Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.

Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings and any training sessions or departmental meetings. Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members.

OTHER : Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Temperature is moderate and controlled by facility environmental systems. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the club on a timely basis.

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees. Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.

Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Must be able to lift & carry at least 50 pounds. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS : Education : High school or equivalent education preferred.

Experience Required : Prior nightclub experience preferred. Licenses or Certificates : Ability to obtain and / or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.
