As a Warehouse Operations Manager , you will support the Branch Manager by executing precise & consistent work at our wholesale building materials distribution center.

This position offers the opportunity to focus on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures.

This lane of responsibility requires patience and a willingness to handle, and complete, one task at a time. The job environment is stable, based on known relationships with people and well-defined processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Support & execute the daily operations of a building materials distribution center
  • Be a helpful & supportive communicator for management and the operations team
  • Build knowledge and competency through structured step-by-step training and positive, supportive coaching from management and peers
  • Communication with others is based on knowledge of repetitive job routines and procedures gained from sufficient on the job experience
  • Produce consistent, error free work based on defined regulations and standards
  • Decision-making within clearly defined job scope based on defined policies supported by management
  • Focus on job knowledge and expertise to collaborate within a structured job environment
  • Lead by focusing on consistent & accurate work with a supportive, non-threatening leadership style
  • Delegation to others when appropriate, using training, coaching and on the job experience

What You’ll Do

Ensure that inventory is accurate and maintained at appropriate levels and that policies and procedures are enforced to ensure efficient, effective and safe warehouse operations.

Assist with interviewing, hiring and establishing performance expectations; assist with associate relations matters as needed.
