Job Description
The Warehouse Associate contributes to Mattress Firm's success by being responsible for receiving incoming product, picking orders, and ensuring proper storage of inventory.
- Loads and unloads product from delivery trucks and vendor shipments
- Stages deliveries
- Stores all product in designated location
- Ensures inventory is dated and rotated per schedule
- Inspects products for defects and damages when receiving or shipping
- Assists in customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service
- Participates in all inbound and outbound quality assurance processes
- Operates and maintains order pickers and warehouse equipment
- Maintains grounds by picking up papers and trash; cleaning parking lot and entrance to building
- Maintains stock and merchandise area, keeping it organized and clean
- Ensures cleanliness of offices, bathrooms, warehouse floor, truck docks and aisles through mopping, sweeping, and washing
- Removes trash daily by emptying trash containers; transports materials to disposal area; recycles materials
- Cleans and sanitizes product per Company standard operating procedure
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all

S. Sunbelt, Latin America and the Caribbean through 110 locations in 20 states and Puerto Rico, serving over 19,000 air conditioning and heating contractors.
We currently have an exciting opportunity within the South Central Region for a Pick Up Express Warehouse Associate based at our Carrollton, TX facility.

Job Summary :
The Warehouse Associate will assist in all daily warehousing activities. This position will be focused in the Pick Up Express area by exceeding customer expectations and upholding the highest levels of customer service and safety.
Job Responsibilities :
- Provide daily hands-on support for the PUX department including assisting customers, other associates.
- Drive compliance with safety, quality and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives.
- Provide recommendations on process improvement and assists in implementation.
Requirements
- Forklift certification required and clamp truck certification preferred.
- Shipping / Receiving system experience is a must.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC a plus, but not required.
- Extensive Customer Service Experience
- At least 2-3 years of management experience with the understanding of basic warehouse functions
- Warehouse experience 5 or more years
- Experience in similar position required; ie Lead or Coordinator roles
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good math skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable with heights up to 30 ft. and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this position, you will support the warehouse operations by receiving shipments, processing orders, and storing / organizing inventory.
The ideal candidate is a team player with experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming shipments in a neat and organized fashion
