Pay : $17.00 hourly

Schedule :

1st shift 6 : 00am -4 : 30pm ( flexible for overtime as needed )

Job Description :

Candidates must be flexible to handle multiple responsibilities within the position including, but not limited to :

Loads, Unloads, and moves material within the warehouse

Reads work orders or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.

Open containers, using steel cutters, crowbar, clawhammer, or other hand tools.

Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand

Loads material into vehicles an installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools.

Convey materials to or from storage or worksites to designated area, using hand truck, eclectic dolly, wheelbarrow, or other devices.

Requirements :

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand & walk for entire shift.

Previous Forklift experience is not required

Ability to communicate, both verbal / written in English is required.

Clear criminal background & drug screen required.

Job Summary :

The Warehouse Associate will assist in all daily warehousing activities. This position will be focused in the Pick Up Express area by exceeding customer expectations and upholding the highest levels of customer service and safety.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide daily hands-on support for the PUX department including assisting customers, other associates.
• Drive compliance with safety, quality and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives.
• Provide recommendations on process improvement and assists in implementation.

Requirements

• Forklift certification required and clamp truck certification preferred.
• Shipping / Receiving system experience is a must.
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC a plus, but not required.
• Extensive Customer Service Experience
• At least 2-3 years of management experience with the understanding of basic warehouse functions
• Warehouse experience 5 or more years
• Experience in similar position required; ie Lead or Coordinator roles
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good math skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently
• Comfortable with heights up to 30 ft. and lifting up to 50 lbs.
