Shift : Day, 5a-3 : 30pm, Monday- Thursday
Payrate : $15.50 per hour

Position Summary :
Under direct supervision, a Scanner in warehouse operations is responsible for processing returned / recalled consumer products or pharmaceuticals on behalf of a retailer or manufacturer.
The Scanner position requires high attention to detail and ability to operate technology such as barcode scanners, digital scales, software applications, and touch screen computers and the ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures specific to this position.
Primary Duties :
- Efficiently and accurately capture product codes (bar codes) or other information, using scanning equipment, for input of information into computerized systems
- For pharmaceutical products, visually identify and verify key product information, then count, measure or weigh the item and enter information into computerized systems
- Sort scanned product items into appropriate container locations
- Inspect condition of product and prepare for disposition in accordance with client contract terms
- Always maintain a clean and orderly workstation and area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications :
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School diploma (or its equivalent) or minimum of two year’s work experience in a warehouse or production job; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position
- Working knowledge of computers
- Able to follow standard operation and safety procedures
- Able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled
- Able to work under time pressure and meet production goals; able to work more than 8 hours per day (over-time) as needed
- Able to assist with other operations within the warehouse, as needed
- Able to handle hazardous waste materials with appropriate safety measures

Warehouse Worker
Job Summary
Primary functions include assisting with shipping, storing and distributing materials, tools, equipment and product within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Maintain cycle counts, organization and proper identification of all materials in the warehouse.
Kit orders and prepare materials for production. Understand basic warehousing practices such as batching, FIFO, LIFO, RMA, Kanban etc.
General Responsibilities (but not limited to) :
Pulling kits for work orders
Scan completed work orders
Move finished goods from final QA to the warehouse
Pack materials for shipping
Ensure that warehouse is kept clean, organized and has accessibility and walk ways clear
Understand basic functionalities of PC / mrp for shipping
Ensure all materials are properly identified
Materials are cycle counted on a regular basis to ensure accurate inventory
Locate materials in correct locations
Helps with projects within the warehouse
Other duties as required
Facility Specific Responsibilities (but not limited to) :
Be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted. Beyond this will require the buddy system or lifting device.

As our enthusiastic and hardworking Driver, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) :
Follow daily routing directions and avoid going off route without exception, unless directed by the Transportation Supervisor or their designee.
- Manage time daily to ensure the route is completed within the approved work schedule. Routes are to be 100% completed each day, without exception, unless approved by the Transportation Supervisor or their designee.
- Responsible for the safe loading and unloading of assigned trucks. Assist in the safe loading or unloading of other trucks as requested.
- Handle all donated material with safe handling procedures and assigned personal protective equipment at all times. Donations must be handled properly to ensure they return damage free to their destination.
- Train, instruct and supervise truck helpers in their WTA, keeping in mind that the helper is in a rehabilitation program and that good personal and professional work habits are taught by example, as well as by instruction.
- Responsible for Bag & Tag as instructed by Supervisor and procedure.
- All pre and post-checks must be completed daily. Any exceptions found during the pre-check inspection must be reviewed by the Transportation Supervisor prior to operating the vehicle.
Any post-check exceptions must be reviewed with the Transportation Supervisor prior to clocking out for the day. All equipment on the truck must be in working order and properly secured for transport.
As a representative of The Salvation Army, ensure that all customers are treated courteously and with good customer service.
Immediately report all donor problems and concerns that occur during donation pick-ups to the supervisor, through dispatch.
- Promptly report to immediate supervisor all accidents involving a truck, personal injury or property damage.
- Abide by all DOT regulations and state and local laws while maintaining a safe driving record. Attend all driver safety meetings as required.
- Report all infractions of safety procedures to the Transportation Supervisor.
- Adhere to all meal and rest breaks per state law and company policy.
- Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned, from time to time, by the Transportation Supervisor, Director of Production or their designated representatives.
Qualifications to be considered for this position :
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean Driving Record
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to operate electronic equipment used for daily route information
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Physical Demands :
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts.

PAY RATE : $17.00 per hour
Schedule :
Work schedules are determined by Management and employee must be flexible to always ensure adequate store coverage. Full-time associates may be scheduled to work any full-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
