Position Summary This position receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Essential Responsibilities, includes but are not limited to Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to associates for processing Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and / or shipped Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as vendor, size, type, style, color or product code Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method Open bales, crates and other containers Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program Assist in counting of physical inventory accurately Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments Prepare parcels for mailing that are compliant with local, federal and international requirements Sweep, dust, mop and organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times Wear the proper safety equipment Additional duties as assigned.

Warehouse Day associates are responsible for receiving in bound goods, put away, replenishment of pick locations, location consolidation, inventory control and general housekeeping.
Responsibilities
Safely and properly unload a trailer of product, verify the load for accuracy and stage for put away.
- Pick and pack orders using label picking, ring scanners, voice directed picking or paper picket tickets.
- Meet individual productivity and accuracy standards as identified through Labor Management (LM) metrics.
- Required to safely operate material handling equipment (MHE) to include forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachment, and / or clamper truck or attachment.
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) scan guns and tools for the purpose of maintaining proper inventory levels and proper location of goods in the warehouse.
- Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed.
- Interact with associates during the hand-off from shift to shift. Frequently will have interaction with delivery personnel, and the early morning receiving crew.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferably one year warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required to obtain certification and safely operate material handling equipment (MHE) to include forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachment, and / or clamper truck or attachment.
The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.

Position Summary :
Carboline is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our location in Corpus Christi, TX. This person will be responsible for supporting production efforts through a variety of tasks to maintain production levels and minimize turn around time, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements :
Ability to perform simple math and mathematical conversions. Ability to operate digital and balance beam scales. Must pass forklift certification and comply with all company safety policies.
Steel-toed foot ware and safety glasses are required at all times in productions areas. Other personal protective and safety related equipment as outlined in Carbolines
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to lift 70 pounds. Must be physically and medically capable of wearing ½ face respirator and dust mask.

- Fills cans / containers / totes / drums with product to certain weights.
- Labels all cans / containers.
- Box all products in accurate containers with accurate labels to be shipped to customers / warehouse.
- Complete First Piece Inspection Forms.
- Clean vessels / tanks using appropriate PPE.
- Store waste drums on 48-inch pallets and keeps pallets free of spills.
