As a Warehouse lead with WHCI you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business and timely delivery of our products to our customers.
You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing orders, and receiving incoming material. Your specific duties will include, but are not limited to :
- Receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipments to put away on shelves
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders for the customer
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain a well-organized warehouse
- Operate a forklift safely
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with customers
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and order

- High school degree or equivalent
- 1+ years warehouse or material handling experience
- The ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment
- Know of, apply, and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment

WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for warehouse
activities including but not limited to receiving & stocking incoming
shipments, loading and unloading of trucks and ensuring timely delivery to
customers and clients. As the Warehouse Supervisor, this candidate will be responsible
for supporting all aspects of the supply / chain logistics including imports,
shipping, receiving, inventory, warehousing, and any related controls.
KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory management such as daily & monthly cycle
counts for inventory and verifying quantities and items being shipped against
the invoice.
Supervise team members and coordinating daily operations and
tasks, especially by ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and company
policies.
Ensures organization / cleanliness of work area meets or
exceeds food storage standards and ensures proper and safe handling of all
products.
- Receiving and billing out goods via R365
- Supervises picks and packs incoming / outgoing shipments
quickly and accurately.
- Coordinates / executes special deliveries.
- Assists with and handles requests from franchises via email
and phone calls
Follows Paris Baguette preferred work methods at all times,
and immediately advise Senior Supply Chain Manager of any unsafe conditions.
- Must be willing to work weekdays & occasional Saturdays.
- Other duties may be assigned by the Senior Supply Chain
Manager.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- At least 4 years of warehouse experience, required.
- Electric pallet jack / forklift experience, preferred.
- Excellent supervisory, interpersonal, customer service, and leadership
skills with high integrity in accordance to company policies and core values.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities,
organization skills, and great attention to detail.
Proven exceptional ability in balancing priorities and
communicating clear and effective instruction to team members in a fast-paced,
dynamic environment.
Possesses ability to anticipate and solve problems
efficiently.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and inventory
software / systems.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply,
divide).

Position Summary :
This position performs a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming product, picking, and filling orders from stock, stacking, and wrapping product and / or building pallets.
Our team members are active throughout their day working independently using a voice-controlled system to select full-case dry, cool, or frozen products in a multi-temperature warehouse environment using powered material handling equipment.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to :
- Safely and accurately select customer orders, free of damage
- Build orders according to assigned load tickets
- Shrink wrap and label orders
- Move completed orders to the loading dock or trailer
- Use powered industrial equipment, such as a forklift, electric pallet jack or walkie-rider
- Accurately receive inbound products, replenish and manage inventory as needed
- Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate powered industrial equipment
- Perform basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe environment, such as clearing aisles of debris and stacking empty pallets
- Observe all safety policies and procedures to meet productivity requirements
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience :
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to pass a post-offer background check and drug test
- Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 170 lbs. when handling keg products
- Must have a demonstrated attention to detail
Preferred Skills and Experience :
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 6 months of related experience in high endurance or highly physical activity or role, such as lifting / transferring patients, sports / fitness, farming, construction work, landscaping, etc.
- Experience operating Material Handling Equipment in a multi-temperature environment, forklift certification a plus
- Stocking, product handling, local delivery, or unloading experience
- Foodservice distribution, grocery store, or beverage delivery experience

CPP is hiring for 5 additional packagers, warehouse workers, and print operators at a warehouse in North San Jose.

We typically offer $17-$20 / hr for either a 6 : 00AM-2 : 30PM or 8 : 00AM-5 : 00PM shift and run Monday-Saturday. Often you will be assisting print operators, packaging books into boxes, learning how to operate printers, or doing general warehouse labor day to day.
