Job Overview
The Supervisor, Warehouse will oversee all areas of warehouse operations, including direction of work to the assigned team consisting of pallet builders, checkers, loaders, forklift operators, etc.
act as a subject matter expert and provide hands-on assistance in any area of Warehouse Operations, when required; support any specific area of responsibility and, or team as designated by the Warehouse Manager.
Additionally, this role will provide leadership to the team through training; performance management; evaluation of Warehouse Personnel and Processes, and lead the interviewing of potential candidates .
The Supervisor reports to the Warehouse Manager and handles issues occurring within the warehouse regarding processes or personnel while promoting all policies, safety procedures, goals, expectations, and CCCI’s Purpose and Values.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse teammates to ensure the safe and successful completion of all related daily warehouse activities and operations
- Verify and ensure compliance to all applicable warehouse processes, including, handling damaged product check-in, etc.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff and personnel processes striving for continuous improvements
- Communicate with other departments, internal, and external stakeholders as it relates to identified process improvements, quality, Out-of-Stocks (OOS ), etc.
- Manage and model the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety policies and procedures
- Supervise, lead, and motivate a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines;
engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implement continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus, and embody company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to lead, coach, teach, and train in a manner that aligns with Company Purpose
- Extensive knowledge of all Warehouse Processes and Warehouse Systems
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and think proactively
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting 30-75 lbs.
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Ability to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes
- Easily transition between different work areas as needed throughout the workday, meeting minimum expectations within those areas
- Ability to read and interpret instructions from a computer screen
- Attention to detail and ability to differentiate our packages
- Ability to work in a noisy and non-climate controlled including high and low-temperature environment
- Intentional self-starter takes initiative and proactively seeks out value-add opportunities
- Flexibility in Scheduling is required as work hours are subject to change based on business demands
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge acquired through 1 - 3 years of work experience
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience supervising or leading people in a warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification
- Certification to be secured after 90-day probationary period
Work Environment
Noisy and non-temperature-controlled environment including high and low-temperature environments

Summary :
Responsible for maximizing production efficiency through effective item placement, warehouse analysis, and maintaining system related logic that affects production work.
What you’ll do :
- Placement of new items in the warehouse into location assignments with logical ti / hi and FIFO criteria.
- Maintain GMP practices, flammability considerations, commodity grouping, and special customer requirements.
- Analyze aisle movements and make necessary adjustments to enhance productivity & capacity.
- Perform maintenance moves as suggested by production workers, as well as those discovered through observation or analysis to reduce damage and improve ergonomics.
- Use item forecast information to assist shipping department with setting up sale / distro staging areas.
- Consistently maintain all location labels.
- Maintain production related system logic and suggest modifications as necessary.
- Balance efficiencies between shipping and receiving to maximize overall capacity & efficiency.
- Serve as liaison between warehouse and procurement to assist with dimensional issues, as well as description related issues.
- Monitor and manage WHS exception reports.
- Manage and communicate physical location repair issues.
- Assist management in quality related research (i.e., lift transactions, selection assignment issues, etc.)
- Create layout / environment that minimizes damage, and shrink, as well as contributing to reduction of both.
About you :
- Excellent math, reading, communication (verbal and written) and problem solving / analytical skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

- Forklift certification may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :
o Receiving and shipping inventory
o Placing and fulfilling orders
o Making local deliveries with a company vehicle
o Executing vending replenishment tasks within customer facilities
