Warehouse employees are a vital part of this team by making sure our customers get the right order. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, selecting and loading products within the warehouse.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience
Responsibilities :
- Receive and process warehouse stock products.
- Select and prepare customer orders in a manner that insures complete fulfillment of each customer order.
- Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy.
- Ensure accurate receipt and documentation are included for inbound product.
- Convey products and materials from receiving areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Places items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined slot assignments.

Summary :
Responsible for maximizing production efficiency through effective item placement, warehouse analysis, and maintaining system related logic that affects production work.
What you’ll do :
- Placement of new items in the warehouse into location assignments with logical ti / hi and FIFO criteria.
- Maintain GMP practices, flammability considerations, commodity grouping, and special customer requirements.
- Analyze aisle movements and make necessary adjustments to enhance productivity & capacity.
- Perform maintenance moves as suggested by production workers, as well as those discovered through observation or analysis to reduce damage and improve ergonomics.
- Use item forecast information to assist shipping department with setting up sale / distro staging areas.
- Consistently maintain all location labels.
- Maintain production related system logic and suggest modifications as necessary.
- Balance efficiencies between shipping and receiving to maximize overall capacity & efficiency.
- Serve as liaison between warehouse and procurement to assist with dimensional issues, as well as description related issues.
- Monitor and manage WHS exception reports.
- Manage and communicate physical location repair issues.
- Assist management in quality related research (i.e., lift transactions, selection assignment issues, etc.)
- Create layout / environment that minimizes damage, and shrink, as well as contributing to reduction of both.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :
o Receiving and shipping inventory
o Placing and fulfilling orders
o Making local deliveries with a company vehicle
o Executing vending replenishment tasks within customer facilities
o Maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counting
o Managing inventory in our warehouse and customer sites

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

THE POSITION :
The Warehouse Supervisor, reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager, will manage and oversee the warehouse activities of their assigned area(s) / account(s), ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity.
The Supervisor will plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities.
The shift for this position is Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm. The starting salary for this position is $65k, depending on exoerience.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY : .
- Responsible for adhering to and meeting the daily department goals in safety, sanitation, productivity, and quality and ensuring all area targets are met.

- Partner with other supervisors to balance labor and ensure the operation of an efficient shift while utilizing the LEAPS tools.
- Ensure all required documentation and system transactions (electronically and / or manually) for assigned area(s) / account(s) are completed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for maintaining physical inventory accuracy at a defined company rate.
- Proactively identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assess warehouse operations continually to ensure the warehouse is neat, secure, safe, and well organized.
- Actively lead start-up meetings and effectively communicate daily goals, building, and company-wide information; sets the energy level and tone of the day.
- Communicate GGOB information weekly to assigned team.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma / GED required; Some college experience preferred. Powered industrial equipment experience preferred.
- 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment).
- Experience must demonstrate a strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of 3PL, Supply Chain, and Transportation, WMS system preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and warehouse management systems preferred.
- Experience must demonstrate the ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines. Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English (Bilingual Spanish / English skills preferred).
- Must be able to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Experience must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills and attention to detail.
