About the Role
In this role, you will set the tone for the store team and help bring our brand to life for our customers and employees.
Your leadership role is critical in supporting the execution of the store strategy to achieve performance goals and drive profitable sales growth through all aspects of the store, including;
customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development. Through collaboration with your leadership team, your goal is to teach others and coach behaviors to cultivate a high performing team that meets or exceeds goals.

- All leaders are expected to become experts of the brand's selling behaviors, leading and leveraging these behaviors with every customer who walks through our doors and allowing us to provide a exceptional customer experience.
- Recruit, hire and develop people to drive a culture of high performance and engagement
- Accountable for team performance through teaching, coaching and providing meaningful feedback to build capabilities
- Support strategies and processes using a customer centric mindset to deliver results, drive store sales, and maximize efficiencies and productivity
- Promote community involvement
- Adapt team priorities to respond to customer and business partner needs
- Provide front line supervision to an operational, service or administrative team

If you have department store experience and are looking to expand your visual merchandising skills, let's connect! We are now hiring for visual merchandisers to work with COACH Handbags in malls near you.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Merchandise COACH handbags and footwear according to current visual directives
- Create and commit to a monthly cadence of visits to high fashion department stores in your market, at least 1x per month, 1-5 hours each visit at each store (hours vary by location)
- Create meaningful relationships with store teams to help build brand loyalty and support
- Submit store visit reports, utilizing ThirdChannel technology on your smart device- Reports include gathered intel, photos and written summaries

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Execute all weekly and monthly merchandising directives in partnership with store leadership and Regional Merchandise Manager / Director.
- Implement visual strategies to result in driving top line sales, create brand consistency and improve the overall customer experience.
- Assess sell through and replenish the styling floor focusing on outfitting and floorset integrity.
- Drive brand loyalty by ensuring exceptional customer experience through a well-merchandised, visually engaging, brand appropriate store environment
- Responsible for all visual installations
- Monthly Floorset (Based on hours : map out floor plan and lead store team)
- Window setups and mannequin updates
- Promotional setups
- In-store marketing updates
- Train store team on merchandising standards / operation recovery
- Restock product daily
- Assist Inventory Specialist with weekly markdowns and lead re-merchandising of sales floor and sale section as needed
- Maintain Visual Merchandising Sign Library and Storage of merchandising equipment (Hardware, mannequins, fixtures)
- Identify store / facilities needs and communicate with management and Regional Merchandising
Manager / Director Skill Set / Qualifications :
- Clear and motivating communication style with strong presentation skills
- Collaborative and able to use creative problem-solving skills to arrive at a solution that is in the best interest of the brand and the customer experience
- Detail oriented while still maintaining excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently in stores / self-motivated
- Possess a level of creativity balanced with logic, organizational, and operational skills
- Visual merchandising retail experience specifically in women’s clothing
- Must be able to climb a ladder as needed
- Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds

INDCOACH
Visual Merchandiser, Retail
POSITION SUMMARY :
Responsible for assisting with the visual merchandising and presentation of the retail locations in NYC. This role is primarily based in the field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist the Director of VM with weekly directive execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and teams.
- Facilitates and maximizes profitability of NYC floor sets by assisting store teams in adapting the Global VM Directive to the specific store layout, product assortment, inventory levels, and customer demographic.
- Train, develop, and inspire store teams to maintain visual excellence in between store visits.
- Manages a flexible, revolving schedule of store visits by shifting priorities based on the needs of the business, monthly window installations, retail events, and the promotional calendar.
- Identifies any VM areas of opportunity within the business and is proactive in finding solutions.
- Support special brand events including NYFW presentations.
