Ferrellgas is searching for a customer-focused Full-Time Propane Delivery Driver to join our team! Ferrellgas Truck Drivers are critical to our success as they are the face of our company in their daily interactions with our current and future customers.
As full-time driver on our team, you will pick up and deliver propane to residential and industrial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Ferrellgas delivery drivers can expect to work local routes and be home every night; however, on-call rotations for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries may be needed.

Responsibilities
- Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations
- Provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquires
- Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance
- Maintains compliance with all DOT requirements
Qualifications
- Previous truck driving experience, preferred
- Class A or B CDL, Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement, or obtain quickly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good driving record
- Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds, in all weather conditions
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States

CDL A Truck Driver

We have created a digital system (similar to Qualcomm) that will have your schedule planned out for 12 days with consistent updates to any changes.
This system guarantees you will be home on time and for a full 48 hours. You will have a team of specialists available 24 hours per day to help with any issues, advice or questions you may have so you will not be dealing with a fleet manager.

Job Type : Experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver
Pay : $1,450 to $1,600 per week on average depending on how hard you want to run
Home Time : 12 days out, home for 2 days

Job Details
Pay and home time : Class A CDL truck drivers on this fleet will be out 12 days and home for 2 days. We guarantee a full 48 hours at home.
Our new digital system will not allow us to get you on the road before your 48 hours are up. You will average $1,450 to $$1,600 per week+ depending on hard you want to run.
Duties : Our Class A CDL Truck Drivers will be hauling general freight through the 48 states. All freight is 100% no-touch and the average length of haul is 700 miles.
Equipment Details : Brand new 2021 or newer automatic trucks fully loaded with everything you need to be comfortable while you are on the road.
You can take your truck home for your home time and will be dispatched right from home. Our digital system will let you know before you get back on the road what your next 12 days' plan is.
Environment : We are community driven. If you need help, guidance, advice, questions or to ven about something that went wrong we have a team of specialists available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Qualifications :
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A License) (CDL-A)
- Current DOT medical card

- Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
- Free of any violations in the Clearinghouse
Application process : We will conduct a phone interview to make sure you meet all the minimum requirements. We will go over the position information in detail.
You will complete a DOT application which will be forwarded to the hiring manager. We will set up an orientation date based on the information you provide on your application.
We will run a PSP, DAC and MVR report. Once those have been run we will give you a job offer and set up an orientation date.
At this point, we will start to send out verifications of employment to previous DOT employers A few days before your orientation date our travel team will reach out and get travel ordered.
You will go to the closest orientation site we have available. Once you get to the orientation we will provide you with travel to the hotel and meals are provided.
Orientation lasts about 3 days and then you will be officially hired and assigned a truck.
