Main Ingredients of the Job
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
- Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
- Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift / carry / push / pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required
What You Bring to the Table
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and / or beverage delivery industry required
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

Truck Driver
Position Overview : This position is responsible for operating HSCL delivery vehicles, delivering clean linens to the member hospital clients, and retrieving soiled linens for transport back to the HSCL processing facility.
Essential Job Functions
- Performing vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Loading and securing clean linen carts in the delivery trucks.
- Operating the vehicles and delivering the clean linens to the hospitals
- Maintaining the delivery schedule and completing the assigned deliveries in a timely manner.
- Loading and securing the soiled linen carts and maintaining functional separation from clean linens as necessary.
- Off-loading the soiled linens and weighing carts at the soil area scale.
- Sweeping truck prior to leaving the soiled area.
- Cleaning truck according to established schedule and current process.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
- Non-Essential Job Functions

Unloading and stocking building materials on jobsites as directed

Obeying all regulatory agency and company safety directives
Obeying all traffic laws and weight limits
Supervising and expediting the unloading operation at delivery sites to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of all building materials

Accurately distribute and place all specified building materials as indicated on the order ticket
Safely and effectively operate a boom, crane or Gradall as needed, based on the specific requirements of the customer
Responsible for having the delivered product neatly placed and appearing as orderly and presentable as possible
Responsibilities may include warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off of trucks or into warehouse as assigned
This position does not require over the road travel
Specific qualifications include :
Valid CDL Class A or B
Ability to unload, transport, and position all building materials as required
Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts
Ability to consistently lift and carry 115 lbs with assistance
Flatbed and / or drywall boom truck experience is a plus
