Overview
Direct, monitor and assist in all hotel security and safety related programs. Perform protective, preventative, safety and security related enforcement functions touring hotel complex to ensure the safety and well being of all hotel guests, associates and vendors.
Implements and monitors all related SOP's, Mission Vision and Values in a courteous and restrained manner in coping with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances and threats.
Responsibilities
- Understands Security related SOP's, property rounds and inspections.
- Completes daily documented tours of entire hotel complex, promotes safe work practices.
- A complete understanding of all Emergency related procedures (Fire, Medical, Weather, Bomb Threat, etc).
- A complete understanding of all security related systems CCTV, Radio, Key Card System, Fire Panel, etc.
- A complete understanding of all incident reporting forms ensuring they are completed correctly based on factual investigations.
- Works closely with all hotel department heads and MOD's to ensure hotel security.
- May participate in hotel investigations.
- Assists Chief Engineer in maintaining key control procedures.
- Takes immediate actions on security related issues.
- Keeps abreast of local criminal activity that may impact hotel.
- Is able to properly handle guests who may be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or are otherwise incapacitated.
- Projects confident, enthusiastic and helpful attitude.
- Has a basic understanding of PC operation and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software programs and internet use.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations, seen as a strong leader through-out hotel.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- College degree or courses will be considered helpful, safety and security related preferred.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Must have basic First Aid training.
- Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
- Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of goals.
- Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.
- Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, and clear.
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
- ADA related Physical Demand Section : Frequent walking, climbing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, smiling, writing with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

Allied Universal is looking to hire Event Security. This position is responsible for checking bags, enforcing access control and implementing policies and procedures for the safety of the guests and owners, while providing superior customer service for the best guest experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
- Allows appropriate entry into each venue, may collect and / or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic coming in and out of the venue.
- Screens guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
- Protects guests, staff, and venue ownership group assets by watching for security breaches at vital checkpoints.
- Responds quickly to potential crowd control issues and provides escorts for unruly guests when ejections are warranted.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities and events.
- Initiates a genuine, friendly and personal greetings to our guests as they arrive at your facility entrance, aisle, concourse area or other location and a sincere thanks as you complete your encounter with each guests.
- Provides guests with helpful directions and / or suggestions that will enhance their entertainment experience.

IPSC is hiring a Overnight Security Supervisor in the New Orleans, LA area. This supervisory position is highly regarded in the company and is key to the successful operation of the business .
You will be an integral part of a hard working team. This position will assist with security operations and management. Duties include scheduling, site inspections, responding to incidents, and standing post.
Past supervisory, security guard, law enforcement, and or / military experience is required. Shifts are 5pm - 5am, weekends required.
This position pays from $16 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, candidates must meet the following requirements :

POSITION DUTIES :
Provides routine security patrols of campus, both internal and external : Patrols assigned area on a constant basis to maintain crowd control and order.
Perform safety and equipment inspections. Provide information and assistance to patients, visitors, staff, and the general public.
Maintains a 100% response rate for assistance : Responds to all calls for assistance immediately unless involved in, or responding to an emergency situation.
Documents details on incident reports as needed. Operate security screening equipment, access control systems, video security and intrusion detection systems.
Report and control unauthorized or suspicious persons, unsafe conditions or other irregularities.
Completes required paperwork to account for all security-related actions : Completes reports completely accurately and legibly.
Completes all reports by the end of the shift unless permission is received from the Shift Supervisor. Receives and secures valuables without discrepancies, ensuring the inventory is documented.
Required to carry, monitor and utilize the hospital issued radio at all times while on duty. Will follow established hospital radio protocol : Work and respond to all radio calls in a timely manner.
