Validates visitor’s clearance level and issues the appropriate badge for escorted or unescorted entry into the facility
Provides directions to visitors
Is proficient in PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook programs and databases in order to perform the varied administration duties required by the Security Division
Is able to communicate clearly orally and in writing
Minimum Qualifications :
High School Diploma
Three (3) years of experience in a security customer relations position with the Government
Some basic Security training
Must have current Secret Clearance

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Staff Security to join our team. The Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for our residents by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a resident site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
What You'll Do
Create a Secure Environment
- You will provide a highly visible status to residents and potential intruders to foster a sense of safety.
- Operate wireless communications equipment between Security Guard and office.
- Observe video monitors. Patrol hallways, building and parking lot to ensure it is well lit and resident vehicles are locked.
Determine that no unauthorized vehicles are present.
- Ensure that all doors are secured and locked in the evening.
- Respond personally to location to satisfy needs of the residents and personnel.
- Adhere to established safety procedures. Maintains a current list of emergency numbers.
- Keep record of residents entering and leaving premises after front doors are locked.
- Answer in-coming phone lines when office is closed.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information.
- In the event of emergency, assist local emergency personnel within the facility as needed.
- Attend all required training, in-services, and staff meetings.

The Opportunity :

Assist in the daily operations of Security and Safety forthe Rio Grande Facility. Ensure that all Physical Security and Safetyrequirements are followed and enforced as company policies mandates.
What You'll Do :
- Observes and reports activities and incidents in and around the facility
- Monitor CCTV equipment and ensure functionality of equipment
- Responsible to ensure that all operation security logs are up to date and maintained
- Assist in Security or Safety related investigations.
- Conduct opening and closing of facility. Arm and Disarm Alarm system and ensure facility is ready for business operations and secure for the close of business.
- Participate in Safety and Security audits throughout the facility including updating all fire extinguishers and monitoring all exits for obstructions.
- Participate in Safety Meetings and assist with evacuation processes in event of Incident or emergency
- Participate in Security Group meetings
- Patrol the facility interior and exterior to check for unsafe conditions, security violations, mechanical problems and unauthorized persons.
- Gathers and protects evidence or scene of incidents in the event of accidents, emergencies or security investigations
- Partner with Leadership team on any security and safety matters related to daily operations.
