ATTENDANT - HSKP FLOOR (Seasonal)
Position Overview :
The primary responsibility of the Attendant Housekeeping Floor (DR) is to maintain hallways, stairwells, guest elevator lobbies, storage rooms and assist Housekeepers.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Cleans and maintains all corridors, vending areas, elevator, landings, service areas on guest floor suites, and ensuring hotel’s standards of cleanliness.
- Provides linen supplies for Housekeepers and stocks floor closets.
- Delivers and retrieves items requested by guests and Floor Manager.
- Maintains one floor per day.
- Provides unmatched service to guests at all times.
- Provides accurate directions and information for guest inquiries and is knowledgeable about all aspects of the Venetian Casino Resort services, features, attractions, promotions and special events.
- Monitors and maintains cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.

- Uses correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations & hotel requirements.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities :

- Comply with policies and procedures of the department or section in order to complete service satisfactorily.

Provide a service for others, and provide expertise based on information keyed, gathered, studied, processed or reviewed.
- Assist housekeepers with the stripping of linen and removing of trash from suites when instructed by floor manager.
- Maintain Locker rooms.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities :
- Remove all trash from the floor.
- Keep brown bags off the corridors.
- Ensure security of any assigned keys / beeper.
- Review assignment sheet & update completed assignments; check with Floor Manager for additional assignments throughout the shift.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Communicates accurate directions and provides information for guest inquiries.
- Knowledgeable about all aspects of the Venetian Casino Resort services, features, attractions, promotions and special events.
- Safety is an essential function of this job.

All The Venetian Resort Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.
Minimum Qualifications :
- 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization / eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- 6 months of experience as a Floor Attendant or similar position at a four star property.
- Must be available for performing turndown service for evenings as needed.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to :
- Lift or carry 75 pounds, unassisted and be able to push up to 325 pounds (fully loaded maid cart) in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
- Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
- Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
- Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.

Key Position Responsibilities
- Perform Warehouse Processes to Support Inbound and Outbound Operations
- Accurately Prep, Pick, and Prepare shipping Orders to Meet Shipping Cutoff Times
- Process Orders According to Fanatics and Regulatory Standards
- Properly Prepare, Stage, and Document Product for Reverse Logistics in Order to Keep Inventory Fresh and Warehouse Space Open for New Products to Be Introduced

- With Appropriate Cross-Training, Provide Back Up Support in Other Areas

Qualifications
Brand Representatives (Sales Associates) must be at least 18 years of age
Physical ability to perform tasks, which could require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling and / or squatting frequently.
May be required to occasionally climb ladders, climb and descend stairs frequently, depending on location. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
