Job Purpose and Impact

The Sales Coordinator will support sales process execution with new and existing customers to enable sales teams aligned with our commercial strategy.

In this role, you will apply comprehensive and thorough knowledge of sales processes to support the customer relationships for medium to large accounts to maximize efficiency and effectiveness for the commercial organization.

This role is based in Bioindustrial supporting the CBI segments of Industrial Technologies and Performance Specialties and will include collaborating with our value chain partner businesses in Cargill Food & Bio (CFB).

Key Accountabilities

  • Enable assigned sales team with key process execution and sales activation including, but not limited to, lead conversion, opportunity management, sample requests, quality requests, pricing requests and ad hoc support.
  • Act as a subject matter authority in the execution of sales processes for medium to large accounts and solve routine problems to ensure we deliver on customer requirements.
  • Support the sales manager on routine operational activities and develop strong customer relationships at various levels within the customer's organization.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales processes are successfully completed accurately.
  • Monitor and ensure commercial data is accurate in our systems and administration tools.
  • Create customized reports for customers and track customer requests for defined business or areas as needed.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

QUALIFICATIONS PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

EXPERIENCE

Retail experience preferred but not required.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to read write and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management. Ability to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.

MATHETMATICAL SKILLS

Essential Job Functions

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance / Data Analysis, or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years business / sales and project management
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud)
  • Highly Proficient with Google Suite, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and other project management tools (Asana, Clickup or equivalent)
  • Expert with CRM systems (Salesforce.com)
  • Experience with documentation of business requirements and user processes (using Lucidchart, Visio or similar tools)
  • The candidate will have a proven track record of proven leadership abilities (communication, relationship building, training & development)
  • Maintain a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
