Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for attainment of assigned goals tied to the overall performance of the hotel. The individual will be responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new accounts.
The Sales Manager will work in conjunction with the Director of Sales to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals for one or more properties.
The focus of sales may vary based on the respective property the associate is assigned to (i.e. Leisure Business Travel Group SMERF).
Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities;
for OEM associates overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.
Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School diploma or equivalent required; previous Hotel Sales experience preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
- Must possess developed verbal and written communication skills to frequently negotiate convince sell and influence other managerial personnel hotel guest(s) and / or corporate clients.
- Experience with professional selling skills desired : opening probing supporting closing
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge especially Microsoft Office products
- Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks; strong organization and presentation skills
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals as well as solicitation call goals.
- Proactively conduct solicitation calls conduct sales tours and entertain clients specific to Leisure SMERF Business Travel (BT) and / or Groups as applicable by property.
- Grow existing relationships with assigned accounts specific to Leisure SMERF Business Travel (BT) and / or Groups as applicable by property.
- Monitor and evaluate trends within your market segment.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive friendly courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Adheres to Aimbridge Hospitality’s established regulations company standards sales standards and sales metrics related.
- Develop a full working knowledge of the operations and policies of the hotel and applicable departments.
- Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations as applicable.
- May assist in implementing and / or participating in special promotions relating to direct sales segments i.e. sales blitzes etc.
- Attend daily / weekly / monthly meetings and any other functions required by management.
- Perform any other duties as requested by the General Manager or Director of Sales.

SALES ASSOCIATE
Duties and Responsibilities :
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Proactively engage and make a connection with customers.

ORGANIZATION

SALES
- Cross-selling products and knowing layout of the store.

QUALIFICATIONS PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
Basic knowledge of products merchandise
EXPERIENCE
Retail experience preferred but not required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to read write and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management. Ability to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.
MATHETMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math functions such as addition subtraction multiplication and division.
REASONING ABILITY

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Involves lifting at least 25 lbs. and up to 50lbs in some departments. Work typically performed indoors but may be assigned outdoors depending upon location.

Director Sales Enablement

The Director of Sales Enablement is an individual leader who will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales and be partnered with the PosiGen sales organization to assist in monitoring critical business KPIs and implementing new sales processes, technologies and change across both Inside and Outside sales.
This role will play an important role as a liaison between Sales and IT, Marketing, Operations, Account Management and Shared Services.
This role will have executive visibility with recurring meetings, presentations, and analysis with the PosiGen C-Suite. This person will have a thirst for knowledge / data, be inquisitive on existing processes, assist in developing action plans and narratives from data sources and help implement with the field sales leaders.
This role may have employees underneath them as the company expands and grows.
The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid capacity out of our New Orleans / St Rose, LA headquarters, however we are open to considering candidates who will work remotely in the continental United States with occasional travel to New Orleans.
Essential Job Functions
- High performing leader who will take a data-driven approach to optimizing the sales organization to identify opportunities for improving sales conversion rates
- A team player who can work independently and collaboratively
- Manage, motivate, and mentor a variety of personnel involved in the sales of solar projects
- Interpretation of data, vast knowledge of Salesforce, expert in reporting and analysis
- Work closely with local sales management to understand sales performance and forecasts
- Assist SVP of Sales in managing KPIs, action plans and performance management
- Expert in change management ability to project manage and adhere to deadlines
- Analyze performance data to identify gaps in sales funnel and drive new resources / process changes to ensure optimal sales performance

- Manage and oversee the Sales budget, forecast and for performance goal setting, and estimated monthly / quarterly / yearly spend
- Assist and remove obstacles from local sales leadership

Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance / Data Analysis, or equivalent preferred
- 5+ years business / sales and project management
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud)
- Highly Proficient with Google Suite, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and other project management tools (Asana, Clickup or equivalent)
- Expert with CRM systems (Salesforce.com)
- Experience with documentation of business requirements and user processes (using Lucidchart, Visio or similar tools)
- The candidate will have a proven track record of proven leadership abilities (communication, relationship building, training & development)
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Knowledge of solar energy and / or solar industry experience a plus
