A few details about the role :
- Direct nursing services to all residents on assigned neighborhood or program.
- Provides hands-on / on-the-job training to newly hired team members. Provides skill set retraining as assigned.
- Oversee physician orders, verify all orders received are transcribed accurately onto the electronic record system and treatment plan, administer medications, and provide treatments according to orders.
- Supervise and provide leadership and discipline to clinical and non-clinical team members.
- Participate with members of the interdisciplinary team to review, plan, coordinate and evaluate resident's care.
- Document the resident's condition and nursing needs accurately and in a timely manner. Reports pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents in a timely manner.
- Execute treatments as necessary while document status and observes reactions to medications and treatments.
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to deliver quality customer service.
- Plan resident admission as ordered by physician, perform assessment, verify orders with physician, and notify pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments, as necessary.
- Introduce an accurate and thorough report to the on-coming shift to ensure the continuity of maximum resident care.

Registered Nurse
A Registered Nurse is responsible for providing anddocumenting skilled nursing care and reports to Case Managers and ClinicalNurse Supervisors.
In collaboration with the Company personnel, RN will renderskilled nursing care in accordance with the care developed for each individualpatient and in accordance with the Physician's orders.
Duties
- Provides skilled nursing as ordered on the plan of treatment and nursing care plan.

- Displays correct skilled nursing care that reflects compliance with State, Federal regulations.

Essential Duties
- A registered nurse should participate in the development and implementation of an individualized patient care plan for the resident with allied health team members.
- Implement total nursing care plan through assessment, planning and evaluation.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to policy and procedures; evaluate treatment effectiveness on a continuing basis.

- Registered Nurse ( RN )s must adhere to all facility and department safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
- Illinois registration as a licensed nurse.
- Requires employee to have had no abuse convictions.

- Ability to communicate and work well with patients and staff members
- Ability to follow facility policies and procedures.
- Ability to speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Ability to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Ability to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, mentally ill, emotionally upset and at times hostile and violent residents within the facility.
- Ability to remain current in practice as applicable to job.
Working Conditions
- Works in well lighted and ventilated areas throughout the facility, i.e. resident’s rooms, nurse’s stations, med rooms, tub rooms, dining rooms, lounges and corridors and hallways.
- Subject to frequent interruptions.
- Subject to involvement with personnel, visitors, state and federal agency personnel and residents.
- Subject to hostile, emotionally upset residents as well as verbally and physically abusive residents on an occasional basis.
- Subject to exposure to infectious waste, disease and conditions as well as unpleasant odors and sites.
- Provided with necessary protective equipment and devices and services to ensure safety including but not limited to gowns, gloves, goggles, shoe covers, hand washing facilities, masks, Hepatitis B vaccine.
