Essential Job Functions

Promotes the Centralized Recruiting Process by providing guidance to Store Managers on how to efficiently execute the program.

Sources candidates through various channels including, but not limited to online job posting sites, job fairs, and career workshops.

Conducts interviews virtually through phone or Skype within a specified region for Assistant Store Managers and Manager-in-Training candidates.

Actively manages the receipt of background checks for candidates by updating the database on a daily basis to determine next steps for interviewed candidates.

Communicates with Market Managers when interviews are completed for store-level manager candidates. Works with Market Manager to coordinate second interviews.

Facilities internal job fairs and career workshops to promote engagement and develop talent within the company.

Responds to all inquiries related to hiring and recruiting promptly.

Contributes to HR team goals through the utilization of the ASANA task management system.

Facilitates end-to-end recruiting for non-store associates which includes, but is not limited to, phone screening, conducting the background check, checking references, composing the offer letter, assisting with ordering of company provided tools and facilitating non-store orientation, as needed.

Participates in job fairs at local colleges and universities to aid in recruitment efforts, as needed.

Conducts new hire orientation class, as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned, which are likely to vary overtime.

To properly perform the duties of this position as outlined above, it is essential that the individual be able to meet the following physical demands :

Ability to communicate to and with store managers, associates, candidates, and other external stakeholders in a manner consistent with business needs.

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Ability to work under tight deadlines, interruptions, and stressful situations.

Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time and operate a computer keyboard for data entry.

Ability to position self to maintain work space and files including under the desk.

Ability to observe computer screens accurately for data entry, use fax machines and copiers, and exchange information accurately for support via telephone communications.

Ability to use his / her hands in order to handle or grasp items of varying weight. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms.

We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquistion Partner / Recruiter - Hybrid Remote (home / office) for our growing Talent Acquisition team.

This individual will be supporting Hanger Corporate by screening resumes, interviewing applicants, and referring well-qualified applicants to hiring managers for specified positions with emphasis on matching specific candidates with Accouting and Finance positions.

You'll be expected to understand and support the recruiting needs of the hiring managers. Your Impact :

  • Recruiting efforts will be focused on Accounting and Finance roles. Review resumes and candidate credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.

Minimum Qualifications :

High School diploma and 5 years of related experience that may include paid employment, internships, or work-study assignments providing hands on exposure to recruiting, marketing, sales, or human resource functions.

  • A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system such as iCIMS is strongly preferred.
