Job Description :

The Production Associate is responsible for operating the manufacturing equipment that supplies raw materials to the production line.

  • Conducts basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure production equipment runs efficiently.
  • Operates and monitors assigned lines, materials, and finished products as necessary to facilitate proper flow and machine operation.
  • Coordinates the movement of products from the production lines to the skids.
  • Examines product for quality and ensures all Food Safety Handling Procedures are followed.
  • Records daily logs of packages, bags, and wasted packaging material.
  • Inspects date codes for accuracy and legibility.
  • Adopts a culture of cleanliness and safety in the work environment.

Candidate Qualifications :

  • Experience working in a production environment is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

As the Production Technician , you will stage, load, and unload finished products in the warehouse and trucks. You will train to fill, valve, paint, and repair cylinders.

You will also take inventory as needed. Ongoing training and development. Advancement opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fill both compressed and liquid cylinders to required standards and levels.
  • Package finished product for shipping (filling, shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
  • Stage finished product for loading and load finished product onto truck.
  • Responsible for quality control and following FDA compliance regulations and procedures.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
  • Operate hand truck dolly, gas fill rack and commercial truck.
  • Complete daily logs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and repair work on equipment.
  • Communicate with Operations Manager on equipment and material needs.
  • Maintain material supply adhering to Helget established par levels.
  • Assist in inventory count process
  • Work with team members in warehouse and at corporate to ensure company goals are met.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to push, pull, move up to 100 pounds required
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to remaining standing during entire shift
  • Ability to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned
