To assist the supervisor by acting as a pipeline between supervisor and employees, maintain safety and quality standards and filling in as a relief worker.

Follow applicable work procedures and instructions; monitoring of critical control points (CCP'S) and quality control points (QCP'S).

Good motor skills and hand eye coordination, effective communication with all levels of personnel, basic math skills, identify quality problems.
Proficient in all department positions, communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, leadership skills. Previous experience within the department preferred, but not required.

Manufacturing / Distribution and fast paced environment, a full range of motion is required (reaching and lifting), lifting up to 15 lbs.

The Production Manager leads all activities associated with the manufacturing / production department for this facility. The Production Manager is responsible for people and team development, motivating the team and ensuring quality performance.
Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit across all shifts.
The Production Manager will be developing a team consisting of hourly associates and salaried team members.
Responsibilities
- Ensure team compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain product quality and sanitation standards.
- Optimize operational efficiencies to support the production, warehouse, and shipping of products.
- Identify and oversee operational improvements necessary to deliver the site annual operating plan (AOP). Ensure cost performance gaps are identified, action plans are developed and resources are properly allocated.
- Track operational output measures (i.e. efficiency, yield loss, product quality, inventory accuracy, transactional accuracy), anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
- Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
- Deliver effective change leadership to drive business changes while minimizing people impact
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues
- Motivate team members to achieve plan goals
- Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly and salaried personnel
- Flex production plans on a shift by shift basis to prevent service issues and operational inefficiencies.
- Optimize ingredient and packaging material usage to minimize scrap loss.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts and procedures.
- Lead and motivate the operations team in a manner consistent with the site Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles
- Coach teams to demonstrate continuous improvement in profitability margins, efficiencies and cost savings initiatives.
- Lead the organization in the development of natural work teams.

Compensation and Benefits :
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $ 81,000 - $ 135,600 based on a full-time schedule
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out Annually.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing preferred. Preferably food / beverage experience
- Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
- You should possess strong skills, knowledge and capability in TPM or lean manufacturing, finance and accounting, project management, leadership, and statistics / logical problem solving.
- Proven working knowledge of the following business enterprises : HSE / quality regulatory compliance, processing / packaging / warehouse operations, maintenance and engineering, ingredient and package material procurement, production planning & deployment, sales and marketing, research and development, and excellent communication, facilitation and influence skills.

Production Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to work at one of our facilities. The Production supervisor reports to the Production Manager and exercises direct control over a Production department and coordinates with other Production Supervisors.
As part of your role you will be responsible for :
Directing, coordinating and planning the activities of a specific production department under master production schedule and the hourly work force (including machine operators, i.
e., milling, mixing, canning equipment, etc.) involved in the manufacture of product.
- Serving as lead person for a group of hourly employees utilizing established methods, normally to a maximum of 15 employees.
- Communicating procedures to all subordinates, assuring they are understood and implemented when applicable.
- Interpreting statistical reports, cycle time specifications and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to :
- Have 2 to 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
- Have a High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Have manufacturing, warehouse and supervisory / managerial experience
- Demonstrate mechanical skills and knowledge of Production processes
- Have excellent math skills, as well as oral, written, reading and comprehension skills in order to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs (MS Office) and other computer skills
- Have prior experience leading, coaching, and developing a team and delivering performance metrics
- Possess strong skills, knowledge, and capability in Manufacturing principles such as OEE, Lean, or TPM

SUMMARY :
Utilizes tube forming equipment to produce ERW steel tubing. Oversees mill operation to ensure the highest quality tubing is achieved while adhering to safety and ISO standards.
Performs complete and partial changeovers as orders dictate. Assures tubing piece count is accurate, and bundles are properly configured.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Operate control panel on the tube packaging conveyor
- Manually package tube bundles when automatic packaging is not available
- Operate pneumatic banders to band tube bundles
- Set-up and operate the de-dimpler on the tube mill to remove dimples from round tube ends as orders dictate
- Monitor mill speeds and maintain shop floor orders
- Check length tolerance using a tape measure
- Inspect OD Scarf and other surfaces for defects to maintain the highest quality standards
- Maintain tube straightness per ASTM 500 or 513 spec by adjusting the dual turks-head stand or sizing stands
- Perform changeovers per order specifications, which include changing rolls in each roll stand of the mill
OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Work cooperatively with others to ensure constructive and productive business relationships

- Be able to understand and effectively use computerized programs
